Totally groovy architecture! Sunset from rooftop unbeatable, especially as seen through the cool arches. Great views from room and excellent location to explore La Paz. Good service. Fun murals nearby and good restaurants. Loved the pizza at Verbena.

I spent four nights here. It was very comfortable and clean. The staff was fantastic, friendly, helpful and kind. The hotel has some quirks like a reception area with purposely uneven floors and an entrance downhill from the front door but it’s all part of the interesting and cool architecture. Other reviews have mentioned the lack of soundproofing so you may want earplugs for sleeping but it wasn’t an issue. The bed was very comfortable and the views spectacular. The rooftop bar is a great place to hang out too.

Very stylish and clean hotel, artsy and elegant. Interesting design features throughout, almost dali- or Gaudi-exque. Well located a block up from the wonderful LaPaz Malecon, and within two blocks of our favorite restaurants in the city - Tres Virgenes and Estancia Uruguay. And within 6-8 blocks of any number of other good restaurants and tacquerias. The rooftop bar is wonderful with great 270 degree views of the bay and city. We found the chef a little too saucy for our tastes (in their Huevos Rancheros and sashimi appetizer), but drinks and other bites were excellent, great selection of mescals and tequilas as well as wines. Very attentive staff! comfortable firm King beds, lush towels and robes. I will try to find and add photos later.

Awesome property, wonderful rooftop dinner, and great location to the malecon. The room was beautiful and the proximity to anything we needed was perfect. We stayed during the week, the room was very quiet and we were not disturbed by any building or street noise. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We recently traveled to La Paz for a bachelorette party, and choosing Republica Pagana was the best decision we made! From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with exceptional care and attention. As a group of girls, we felt incredibly safe and welcomed. The services were top-notch, with a wide variety of drinks and delicious food that exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was perfect for our celebration, with a lively and fun atmosphere that kept us entertained all night. Special shoutout to Gerardo for making our night unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. If you're looking for a place in La Paz for a special event or just a great night out, Republica Pagana is the spot. Let me not forget to tell you that the hotel has the best roof top bar in town (Gaudí’s style… kind of Casa Batló en Barcelona). Highly recommended!

Es un hotel con un concepto excepcional. Me encantó. Mis amigas y yo la pasamos increíble. Cada espacio es inspirador. El personal es súper amable, todos muy atentos siempre. En el restaurante todo está delicioso. Sinceramente República Pagana es la mejor opción que pudimos tomar para hospedarnos en La Paz.
