We had a very nice experience at Marea. The staff were super friendly. The laundry service was quick and inexpensive. We loved how clean water was available and the ability to use the third floor kitchen and living area. The house coffee was absolutely delicious. Very comfortable beds. One of the best things was the breakfast which is built into the price. There were truly gourmet options and real good wait staff service. Nice, quiet area but still walkable to malecon.

Casa Juarez is a must stay! Very friendly people, excellent Guormet breakfast included, heated pool, super clean, beds are comfortable, you can lounge by the pool, very tranquil, all the amenities you need are here. Also centrally located to get anywhere around town.

We are two couples that didn't want to stay in a large chain hotel or spend a lot on a resort because we wanted to get out and explore. The Marea turned out to be a perfect find! The hotel property and rooms are very pretty with nice decorative touches. We liked the free secure parking and bikes to rent... Prefect for riding down to the Malecón. There were several areas to meet up with our friends and hang out. The rooftop community kitchen is very nicely stocked and includes some comfortable seating areas - we loved that they have drawers assigned to each room and a large refrigerator for storing your perishables. They also provide coffee and tea in the kitchen in case you need more than what's provided in your room. They also have water dispensers for refilling your water bottles. Breakfast. I don't even know where to start. We expected it to be a breakfast buffet, continental style for the guests. No, not the case at all.... Waaaay better. It's actually a restaurant that's open to the public. They have a special menu for guests that includes an assortment of delicious meals that are better than your standard eggs and toast. Nacho was our server the first 3 of the 4 mornings and oh did we enjoy his professionalism, efficiency and humor! There wasn't anything about the hotel that I found undesirable. The rooms are comfy, bath products are high quality, staff is friendly, helpful - I left our passports and cash in our room safe at checkout and they texted me on WhatsApp immediately to let me know. Tip - Unfortunately, the neighbor directly next to the room entrances has a dog that barks nonstop throughout the night and they do nothing to calm it. Be sure to bring noise-canceling headphones or ear buds and play your white noise to minimize sleep disruption.

We loved the peace and beauty of this wuaint hotel! The rooms are pretty and spacious. We felt very safe and the staff is very kind. It was extremely clean. The breakfast choices were tasty and fun to try. We feel it is an undiscovered gem! A quick drive to the Malecón, too!

Everyone was so kind and helpful! The space was clean and the ocean sounds of the marina were great! If you're able-bodied to walk, then you can make the almost 30 minute meander to the main *****. The pathway is nice and the nightlife (family oriented) is grand!

The hotel was beautiful. Everyone working there was so helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Included breakfast was delicious. Great view, nice balcony, common palapa area on the roof also very nice. Wish we could stay longer.

I really liked our stay at Marea La Paz. The hotel is super cute and the staff were really friendly. There is a beach to relax at and it's outside the city so a bit more peaceful than other locations. We ate at the on-site restaurant twice and the Governor tacos were AMAZING.

We had a great stay at Marea La Paz. The street where it’s located looked a bit abandoned, but is was completely safe, you can walk to several restaurants or the Marina at the Malecon and the hotel and staff itself are a safe haven and it’s a tropical paradise with a private beach and pelicans in front of the door. Food is great as well and staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you stay in La Paz (Mexico)!
