Vvf les Plages de Guérande la Turballe

We had an excellent stay at La Turballe, the place is really ideal just a few meters from the beach. The food is okay, there are always two dishes to choose from and pasta with a new sauce available every evening. The swimming pool area is very pleasant and spacious. Small downside, the accommodation is a little dilapidated and could do with some updating (but you don't go on vacation to stay in a gite so you might as well stay at home!!!!)

Great VVF! We spent two weeks with three children (1 teenager, 1 10 year old and a child) in August 2023. We were impressed by the professionalism and commitment of the staff. From reception to the facilitators, they showed constant involvement, friendliness and responsiveness. We particularly praise the quality of the entertainment for children and the variety of theme evenings. The club schedules are really adapted to each age group. The hosts seem united, always have a smile and impressive energy. A round of applause to the whole team. The VVF is large and ideally located near a beautiful beach. The swimming pool is clean. Sometimes crowded (but we subsequently avoided rush hours). The accommodation was OK and clean. Each of us was able to find activities and a pace that suited us. Including for adults with lots to do in the surrounding area (visiting the salt marshes, surrounding towns (Guérande, le Croisic, la Baule, Pornic, Nantes...) and walks in nature. We will come back without hesitation.

Very well located estate with direct access to the beach. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area (by bike it's great). Housing and grounds are aging but still pleasant. After reading the comments we took accommodation for 6 for the 4 of us so there was enough space. The accommodation was functional and well located (facing the dune, we could hear the waves and see the ocean from upstairs). Children's clubs from 3 months, the oldest loved it. Lots of games (board or outdoor) available for loan as well as a large library. Clean swimming pool area with 3 pools ideal for everyone. The offer of walks (paid) is a plus, it avoids wasting time looking for guides or anything else. We didn't try the food but the waiter at the bar was very friendly and helpful. There is entertainment every evening (entertainment shows/board games evening, etc.). It's not the entertainment of the big clubs, it's calmer and that's also why we go there.

The worst VVF I have been to, the house is too old it should be renovated there are holes in the wall everywhere it is unpleasant the only good place is the upstairs. The house is much too small, there is not enough room in the fridge to put food, there were 4 of us and there is not even enough space. The activities are lousy there is no atmosphere at all fortunately there were things nearby but the price is much too high for such accommodation. The fridge is way too small to put food in it, it's barely half the size of a fridge. The animations were repetitive for two weeks so it was boring to see the same animations again. The house is clean but is too old you should renew it.

Accustomed to vacations in another channel, we wanted to test this vvf. The children loved it. The accommodation was cramped for the price and could have been cleaner but we had a great week. The advantages of this holiday village are: 1. The chef: The meal offer was very good. At least 2 dishes to choose from, one of which is for children! Excellent fish. Varied dessert buffets. The chef and her team are accessible and want to please 2. The entertainment manager who spares no effort herself to ensure that adults and children have fun. 3. The bar: here too, choice and good humor

Beautiful week in this magnificent site surrounded by nature located 500m from the beach. We came at the end of July and beginning of August 2023 with my 12-year-old daughter in this VVF. It was our first time in Brittany, so we spent a lot of time between walks and visits to the Guérande region. We chose the half-board option for catering. Breakfast food is plentiful with a wide choice. The evening meal is also well stocked in quantity. We feel that the kitchen and service teams are making an effort to offer the best with what they have. The dining rooms are clean. The accommodation was good for two people even if we mainly slept there when we returned from our visits. I couldn't talk about the entertainment in the village because the little one didn't go to the teen club and in the evening I wasn't always there for the evenings. What is nice, however, is that the evenings end before 11 p.m. and do not resemble open-air nightclubs. For calm and rest it's good. Generally, we feel a certain professionalism in this village with people who know their job. Of course they have young people in their teams and some need more time than others to learn. I'm 52 years old and have been to a lot of campsites and other holiday villages, this one is good. The only downside of the stay was the not-so-great weather throughout the country at the start of August 2023.
