2-Star Hotels in Lafayette

This is a wonderful location for any destination you want go to in Lafayette, every thing is convient. The only reason for not having a perfect 10 in all catagories is due to Covid restrictions. It is time we move past this and try and get back to some degree of normal, ie: Daily house keeping, better breakfast, etc. We were told the property was in line for a little remodeling/updates. This will serve to freshen things up. Good stay, Thank You to the staff. John S.

As frequent visitors to Lafayette, we've decided this is our favorite place to stay. We strayed for one visit and man do we regret it! Side note: never stay at the La Quinta Oil Center down the street! The front desk people are very helpful and nice. The cleaning people are as well. We like the fact that you can run the a/c fan to drown out inevitable hotel noises. The beds are comfortable and everything was very clean. There are a lot of places to eat close by, including a Chilis and Outback Steakhouse in the same parking lot if you are too tired to do anything else like we were a couple of times. We have nothing bad to say.

This was obviously an older hotel that Wyndham purchased and upgrades were implemented for the most part. We enjoyed that you could park at your door unlike the usual hotels. Check in/out was fast. There was a breakfast. I just wish there were fruit and yogurt options instead of most carbs. But that's just me. It was all great!

The entire staff had friendly, professional, disposition. My room was clean with enough towels. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable The breakfast bar was very nice, there was a wide variety of items to choose from. Covid-19 intructions were displayed to remind guests to practice social distancing. I would return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

This is a place where I always stay this time I noticed that the staff was a little younger that does the cleaning and did not do a good job as the other workers did they just need to stay on top of it just cuz it looks clean does not mean that is clean they need to just wipe and mop up floors cuz there spills from the previous guest

Rooms are clean, spacious and roomy. Beds are comfy. Listed as a queen but it was bigger. Breakfast was basic, no hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, etc.) but had bread for toast, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. When you arrive, be patient with the front desk person. 25 minutes to check in and IMO they were under the influence.

I’ve stayed here a few times in the past and it was always nice but that has changed. I arrived after dark to see a chain link fence had been installed around the hotel which was my first bad feeling. The place looked dark and abandoned. There were barely any cars in the lot which prompted me to ask the desk clerk if it was safe to stay there. He said they monitor the cameras but couldn’t 100% guarantee anything. He was nice enough to give me a room over the parking area where he suggested had good lighting so I could see my car. Once in my room, I saw another vehicle with the passenger window smashed out and covered in plastic. In addition to that, there was nowhere to hang your clothes, the elevator and hallways were filthy, the sheets hadn’t been changed, only smoothed out with hair in them and on the pillowcases, and roaches! The desk clerks were very nice but seemed to be the only staff around so we didn’t bother telling him but no sleep for us. We just waited for Day break to get out. Never again!

Skye was fantastic and she made a wonderful weekend possible. She went the extra mile helping us get a room. She is a definite ASSET to the Laquita team! So kind, so friendly, so, incredible. The housekeeping staff are VERY hardworking and willing to help with anything you need. The rooms are immaculate and the grounds were neat and trimmed. Pet friendly is music to my ears and they even had treats for our pups. You can’t ask for a better spot to cozy up with their soft beds and great lobby area.perfect location and will be going back again and again! You WONT be disappointed!!
