The location is remote (very) and stunning. The milky way at night is breathtaking and the only sounds are of cows calling for their calves. The friendly gauchos provided great horseback experiences and the hiking was rewarding and beautiful. The only drawback was the attitude of the hostess who seemed indifferent to me and non-communicative about activities upon checkin. I tried to engage the owner who also was uninterested in any dialogue. Finally, the rooms are classic country simplicity. The meals are simple, disappointing and not very filling. Would I recommend? Yes. Would I return? Probably not.

We were at this lovely place for 3 nights and 4 days. The trip to the Estancia is on a gravel bumpy road for 50 km. I would advise getting an all terrain vehicle to make this journey. The service provided is 5 star. The staff could not be nicer or accommodating. The 4 rating is because the food is just ok for the cost. Nothing extra special, but tasty. Breakfast is adequate but is done at 9 am. The horse back riding experiences are excellent. My husband is a very experienced rider and he loved every minute. I eventually got on the horse the last morning and loved it as well. The gauchos are amazing. The rooms are comfortable and the showers are hot. I loved sitting outside looking at the scenery in the Adirondack chairs outside our room. This is a real working ranch and there are people who come out for the day to experience it, was never an issue for us. Sitting in front of the fireplace in the evening and getting to know the other guests was also fun. We took a hike one day and went to see the glacier. The kitchen prepared us a nice take away lunch. A great experience, we will be back next year for the overnight HB riding trip!

The estancia is in a very isolated area with stunning views of the Cervantes Glacier and Lago Argentino and Roca. The building is simple, with older furniture but nice character. Our room was fairly large, with nice views, the bathroom was simple but fully functioning. The personnel is very attentive to your needs and always ready to help. In particular, Juan, Agustina, Luisina and Agustín were great. Agustín took as on a trekking route to the bosque de lengas which was really, really nice! There are other trekking routes you can do on your own. They have a field day where you can learn a bit about life in a Patagonian Estancia, ride a horse and partake a delicious lunch (Cordero Patagónica). The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the food (with the exception of the field day) is extremely bland and lacks some initiative to show some cheap but very tasty dishes that are part of the Argentinian gastronomy (during our stay, meat dishes were lacking, for breakfast there is no toaster for the bread, pasta and polenta two days in a row is a bit too much carbs) . Truly a pity; improving the kitchen offerings is the missing piece to provide a five star experience.

We loved our 3 night stay at Nibepo Aike. The staff, especially Gus and Juan as our Caballeros, were very attentive as they guided us on our various trail rides, long and short! They provided a lot of great information about the area, flora and fauna, and educated us on the ranch lifestyle -warm, kind and funny -we felt like family right away! The only shortcoming was the food. While lunches and dinner included 3 courses, they were rather bland and disappointing. Continental breakfast could include a toaster for the (not so great) bread; the addition of eggs would be nice. The Asado lunch in the barn was good, but should be offered to ranch hotel guests on all days, without the required tour of the ranch, which is repetitive for hotel guests who get all the same info while doing the trail rides. A beautiful area and well worth the drive out for a few days! If self driving, the road is gravel and potholey-take your time and enjoy the vista! The ranch also offers shuttle service if you don’t have a car

We didn't stay in the hotel, just went for the farm day. The surroundings are very pretty, but that's the only positive I have to say. The prices are unbelievably high for what you get. There were more than 50 people and only 1 guide. When we arrived in the morning there were like 10 very small pieces of cake and some very plain/ tasteless pastry. Lunch was alright, but my boyfriend actually got food poisoning from it... 🙈 So over 80$ per person for an extremely touristy experience, where they tie together the cows to let some inexperienced people milk them and some mediocre food you might end up regretting is definitely not worth it. Safe your money and invest it into some good food, unfortunately can really not recommend it...

The estancia has history and the inside has some antiques and is very cozy. It lacks some intimacy as it is also geared towards groups who come for the day by mini- bus from El Calafate. The food is good but not exceptional. The service is very good and the horse riding is appreciated by everyone. The surroundings are magic. It is a worthwhile experience to stay for 2 nights. It is not cheap but worthwhile.

Unique opportunity to spend the night in the Glaciares national park. Cozy atmosphere in the Estancia and kind and polite personnel. However, be prepared to drop your comforts. The superior rooms are quite far from the entrance, where the fireplace is. Therefore the rooms are cold (the heaters are not used adequately). The hot water is scarse, especially in the evening. Another thing to note is that the food menu is fixed and does not include meat, as you might imagine. Finally, the personnel, although nice and polite, lacks professionalism (general sense of disorganization). Overall suggested for a couple of nights to try the experience of sleeping in a national park (3-hour horse riding and Glaciar Sur Adventure experiences highly recommended).

Nibepo is quaint, rustic but with all the necessary amenities. All inclusive packages-lodging, food, and activities. Incredible, remote location. Staff was especially friendly and helpful. Raquel was our horse wrangler. Hiking, horseback riding available. Good, hearty food choices. This is the place to go for the country experience.

We spent 3 nights at this magical place. The staff at the estancia was excellent and helped us plan our 3 days of walks, hikes, horseback riding and a boat trip to the glaciers. The food is tasty comfort food served with a roaring fire near-by. The estancia provides a simple restful space to enjoy at your own pace with people to help whenever you asked and a place where casual conversations with people from around the world enhance the experience even more!
