Jeez! If there is anything less than one, that’s what de Santiago deserves. It’s a very diabolical hotel now that I think of it. I was sleeping with my family with two kids in the place we booked when all of us started coughing at 2am. Woke up to notice that there was a pepperrish spray in the atmosphere. I called the receptionist and was told it’s for mosquitoes they are trying to kill. We ran out with the kids and went down the reception naked at past 2 in the morning. It was until after insisting and going to the outside of the hotel that they agreed to change rooms for us. The new room was the one we rejected earlier because the floor was messed up with water and posed a fall risk, very tiny for its price and so hot that even the AC doesn’t help. Before I was even lucky enough to go into my room, I stayed at the reception for up to an hour waiting for the room ‘to be cleaned’. I totally regret coming here, never again will I treat myself that bad. They have a business with some spiritual people looking for humans. Not clean at all.

Amazing experience, the hotel is very nice, clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing too so nothing bad to say about my experience in this hotel I only stay for 3 nights and it was nice, if I ever visit Nigeria again definitely I will be staying in this hotel. The environment was amazing by the pool or on the roof top

We stayed over the weekend Feb 17 2024 Till Monday evening Their service was excellent The gym The pool Free breakfast The rooms were very neat Restroom well kept Cars were safe Room service on time Santiago we are coming back soon with our kids for vacation . Thumbs up

This was my second trip back to Lagos and my host provided lodging here again. The hotel itself is very nice. With the exception of one of the bellhops, the staff is Very apathetic, and some are out and out lazy and incompetent. My room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The Wi-Fi is terrible and pretty much only useable in the lobby. The staff showed no concern at all and just struggled their shoulders and seemed extremely uncaring. The shower head in my bathroom was broken and it took almost two hours to figure out that it was broken, attempt to fix it and then finally take one from another room and install it in my shower. When I finally got around to getting to bed, the light outside the bathroom could not be turned off without pulling the room key out of the socket that controlled all the electricity to the room. The manger seemed to care somewhat but told me the building engineer was not retuning his calls, at 2:00AM...

Good location but the service is poor. The quality of this hotel has gone down. The breakfast was total waste of time. The tea was cold, requsted for scrambled eggs and instead I got a cold omellette. Not worth the price.
