We stayed at AVIDEA Hotel recently and had mixed feelings about our experience. The hotel is relatively new and very nicely designed—clean lines, modern decor, and a pleasant overall aesthetic. However, it just didn’t quite resonate with us, and we felt it lacked a certain warmth or atmosphere. The location is in a residential area, which makes it quiet, but it also means there’s not much privacy. Rooms are unfortunately not very soundproof, so we could hear other guests quite easily. The rooftop pool, while visually appealing, felt a bit small for the number of guests, especially during peak hours. AVIDEA is an all-inclusive hotel, which is convenient, with food and drinks included. While the presentation of the meals was quite nice, we found the food rather bland and not reflective of the rich culinary heritage of South Tyrol. It felt more generic than local. Overall, it’s a well-maintained and visually attractive hotel with a few drawbacks. While some may love the minimalist vibe and find the setting relaxing, it simply wasn’t quite to our taste.

My wife and I spent a weekend in this fantastic hotel. The hotel is private, very elegant and modern. The spa is relaxing, full of loungers to rest in. The saunas are brand new and very beautiful. Internal snake that then comes out to the heated outside as well as the one on the terrace, where they have created a comfortable and relaxing environment. All-inclusive formula with drinks included. Applause for the dinner, chef-made dishes and we had seconds of dessert!

Very beautiful structure, friendly and helpful staff, the room with panoramic window simply fabulous, super breakfast, praise for the kitchen guys, delicious dishes and superlative desserts. The terrace with the fantastic hydromassage, the welcoming spa and swimming pool. Every room is spotless. Congratulations to all the staff.

Don't book if you want reliable accommodation. We booked a stay over New Year's Eve in June. This was cancelled at the end of September because the hotel had decided to close. By then, all reasonable alternatives were already fully booked.

Beautiful hotel, but not worth 4 stars. At least the rooms in the old building are very noisy on the street side and have no air conditioning, the chairs on the balcony are made of plastic and very old. The showers are also from the last century, although the staff try to keep everything clean. Unfortunately the rooms cannot keep up with the quality of the food, which is exquisite and really fantastic. The indoor pool with infinity pool seems perfect to us, the wellness oasis on the roof of the new building also seems to have seen better days. Overall a nice hotel, but due to the facilities, an exaggerated rating with very exquisite prices.

In this hotel everything is simply perfect! The view is beautiful, the location excellent, our suite was spotless and very spacious, the swimming pool and spa area are furnished with extreme care and allow you to relax in the best possible way, the kindness and professionalism of the staff are impeccable. The highlight for us was the cuisine, the breakfast with a very wide choice and the dinner from a starred restaurant, both in terms of quality of food and plating!! Truly an unforgettable stay!

Un hotel luxury all inclusive adults only in una piccola frazione di Lagundo, a pochi chilometri da Merano. Avidea e’ un luogo dove rigenerarsi, gustare piatti gourmet, rilassarsi nella moderna spa e concedersi in generale assoluto momenti di relax.
