Scourie Lodge B&B and Gardens

A real treat. Angus and Elisabeth were the perfect hosts, friendly, helpful and so eager to help if needed. Comfortable room. Stunning location looking over Scourie harbour. The walled garden is just gorgeous. The restaurant offers good food. If you want somewhere to stay away from busy towns then this is the place. Highly recommended.

Having arrived late after cycling the first half of NC500, I was bedraggled - I felt really well looked after by the whole team - such nice people 🤗 That's all I have to say, doesn't need the full 200 characters...

I've spend 3 nights in Scourie Lodge, Couch House. It was big but cosy room with two comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Warm and pleasant. Breakfast was very tasty and wide choice of food (both Scotish and continental and vege). I also had one dinner at the restaurant which was fantastic (but not cheap :). The Lodge is located in very pretty location, near the bay.

We stayed for three nights at Scourie Lodge B&B and can thoroughly recommend it. Angus and Elisabeth were perfect hosts. We stayed in "Hope" which was a large room with everything we could have needed. The bed was on the firm side but suited us. The only negative was the slow wifi speed, but then you are in the far north west. The real stars of the show however were Gillan and Fiona, who did the catering and other jobs around the lodge. Breakfasts were absolutely first rate and we were fortunate that the Lodge Cafe and Restaurant had just opened for evening meals. There are two menus so all budgets are catered for and the food was great. We did go to the fish and chip van one evening. Highlights were Handa Island and kayaking at Scourie and Tarbet. And being early in the season so not too many campervans. We could not recommend this B&B highly enough, many thanks to all!

We stayed here for two nights on our N500 adventure. The building and location are really good with beautiful views of the bay. However what makes this exceptional is how welcome you are made feel by Angus and Elisabeth. They really look after you with helpful advice, interest and care. The daffodils were blooming and the garden looked magnificent. The chef also made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The location is close to Handa Island ferry and we would recommend doing this . We were lucky enough to see puffins and seals.

Stayed 1 night in our epic NC500 trip Warm welcome from the owners ,who explained breakfast is cooked and served by another couple who are starting a dining venture within the hotel ( breakfast was excellent and good luck in there new venture, there is little choice to eat locally) our rooms were warm and clean , and probably the nicest bed sheets ever ! Nice 1 night stay very much recommend
