Popular Lakes Entrance 4-star Hotels

Great modern accomodation with larger than usual lounge and kitchen areas. 2 bathrooms and undercover parking. Great location opposite the river with children’s playground and an Aldi at the rear. Restaurant available. Only downside was no fresh coffee available with meals - this was from a pay machine and a bit of a walk to get one to have with breakfast. Highly recommend this quiet end of the river plus across the road from the Fish Coop and Cafe.

Wish we had read the TripAdvisor reviews prior to making a booking. The raft of poor reviews indicates there are problems with this accommodation and we too found this to be the case. As with other reviewers we found a terrible odour in the bathroom, it was a sewerage like smell, others identified it as a seafood odour, regardless it was not pleasant and it got worse during the night. We went out for dinner and returned to find the carpark in total darkness. We had to turn the torch on our iPhone to find the doorway to our room. We reported both issues to reception and were told ”several people have made similar complaints, I must look into it”. The overall amenity to the units is run down. The phone in our room had been removed, all the pump action hand wash, shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. Little bottles of these were provided but if the pump action bottles are no longer used they should be removed. The container with bags for sanitary items was empty... you get the picture. All this is a shame as the units are spacious and well located.

The best motel I've stayed in since I came to Australia. The room is big and clean, the bed is soft and comfortable, I slept soundly, the landlord couple is very nice, when our car had problems they came to help check and repair it, their small garden is very beautiful, there is a great swimming pool, highly recommended.

Everything you need is there. Comfy pillows and the softest sheets ever. Even cookies on arrival. I've found a winner here for my business stays but also when I visit for a little holiday this is where I'll stay. Even the towels were large, soft and smelt beautiful. And staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay in this split level apartment located in the lovely quiet town. The place is well equipped with full kitchen, spa bathroom, second toilet, washing machine and swimming pool. You can enjoy the sunset at your balcony or walk 3 minutes for sunset and sunrise. The shops are just around the corner of this place. The bonus is you can wash your car in the driveway.

We visited here for our only short break from work, 5 days, with the kids on the school holidays just before school started and discovered that the pool shut at 7.00 pm. We paid premium rates to book this place on school holidays, nearly double the amount that is advertised now. Our main draw card for booking was having access to the pool. We do not have a pool at home and we came from heatwave conditions in Melbourne and was really looking forward to this trip. We were all exhausted from work and school and this was our only time off to spend together as a family and we just wanted to relax by the pool. We placed great emphasis on there being a pool and 7.00pm was way to early to shut down a pool. Most of the advertising of this place is based around the pool and that was the basis of us booking this place. If we had known that the pool shut at 7.00pm I would not have spent a penny here and would rather have gone elsewhere. Very Disappointed !!!
