The location had great views over the valley, including the early morning sea of cloud. The property has a rooftop lookout that our group could get together to enjoy the view.
It helped that our taxi could drive through the narrow road of Mengben village and deposit us and our luggage on the doorstep of the homestay. This is unlike Wengji & Nuogang villages, where cars are not allowed to enter the village but deposit visitors at the village carpark.
The hospitality of the owner/hostess was remarkable.
She had a Pu'er tea table and made us endless cups of different tea all grown in her farm, explaining their differences and virtues. She did not charge us a cent for the whole experience. Neither did she try to hard sell the tea leaves although we did buy a small amount off her because we enjoyed the tea. She is a good cook and whipped up breakfast and lunch for us.

The room alarm lock is often ringing. The facilities are mediocre. The charges for meals are quite expensive. The portions are very small. The price of a chicken is more than twice as expensive as outside.

The price is much cheaper than Wengji Nuogang, and the environment is much better! It’s a super big room, and you can even bring your dog in. The owner and his wife are very nice!

民宿在遊客還不太多的村寨，當地人包括老闆一家都相當淳樸，做生意慢慢悠悠，隨時歡迎進去喝茶，不買也沒關係。房間乾淨超過預期，細節很到位，得到了同行開酒店朋友的認可。周圍環境優美，寨子寧靜，屋頂天台看雲海很棒。

房間很大，別墅式房，能推門見雲海，房頂可觀雲海，視野很開闊。老闆很好很熱情，隨時有茶水喝，早上有早點吃，起床就有泡好的茶在飯桌上。周圍很安靜，晚上星星很多。老闆娘幫我們介紹點的一家飯菜很好吃，份量很足價格又實惠，是我們在景邁山幾天吃的最好的一頓。總之，十分推薦她家。

感謝老闆夫婦的熱情招待！絕對被低估的一家客棧，整個景邁山看雲海最好的位置之一。院內停車方便，不像糯乾和翁基車不能開進村。房間大，設施好。老闆夫婦人很實在，早餐米線很美味，茶也很好喝。個人體會，景邁山最令人驚歎的景觀就是雲海，古寨反而看多了感覺普通，路上的櫻花也不錯。住在勐本看雲海安靜休息，白天去古寨打卡是個不錯的選擇。雲海確實很美，值得專門來看一次，連續兩天起床看雲海日出，美如仙境，絕對震撼。

位置在勐本寨，不在路邊，很安靜，樓頂可以看日出日落雲海，房間挺好，洗澡水很大很熱，沒想到山上洗澡能這麼好。特別要説的是老闆，服務態度極好，早餐老闆娘親自煮了米線雞蛋給我們吃，晚上本打算出去覓食，老闆正在吃飯，邀約我們一起吃，第二天還幫我們約了山上一日遊的包車，老闆家有茶園，可以採茶樹的花……總之，很推薦
