Lancaster Hotels with Gym

I felt pretty good in Lanka Town, the environment was good, and I also checked out an old-fashioned elevator with manual door opening and closing

This is an amazing place - a hotel which dates back and the layout reflects that! We were on the top floor under the roof at the top of three flights of stairs. [I am too old!]. The room was - as I say - under the roof with sloping ceilings with ”Velux” windows which would not stay open. Between the bedroom and bathroom was a diagonal beam just waiting to get my head [didn't!] Blinds in windows block the light. If you book direct rather than through an onlinebooker you get a free breakfast! If I visit again I would simply ask for a more normal and lower room. Staff were great.

A fantastic meal as always! This place never disappoints. The staff are fantastic, very hospitable and attentive. The menu offers a great selection of seasonal dishes and the Sunday lunch was one of the best we’ve ever had. Sublime! Well worth a visit!

Might be due to owner wanted to save energy, lights and heaters very unpreductable. Even TV will auto off, lights auto dim down and no intervention possible.

Lovely location, right in the City centre. Room was very spacious and very up to date decor. Kitchen area with everything we needed. Very up to date. Shower room was very spacious with huge shower. Comfortable bed. Nice view to courtyard. Very peaceful nights sleep with little noise. Absolutely spotless. Overall very pleased and would definitely stay again 🙂
