This is a great value accommodation. Koreatown is nearby, so there's no problem finding groceries or eating. The room is a bit small, but with two queen-size beds, it's a decent budget hotel for sleeping. Breakfast is complimentary, but it's only a light meal. Think of it as bread and coffee. However, the small dining area makes breakfast quite inconvenient. So, on the second night, I brought breakfast back to my room and ate it there.

Facilities: The room was quite large, with both air conditioning and heating, and a clothes rack and small table. The only drawback was that the room lighting was too dim, but the bed was very comfortable. Cleanliness: Very new, but the cleanliness was just so-so, haha. Environment: Pretty good, not too noisy on the inner street. Service: Deposit was refunded upon check-out on the same day. The Indian guy and lady at the front desk were very friendly.

The hotel has a good location, just a few minutes' walk from the 23rd Street subway station, and about a 10-minute walk to the High Line Park. As is typical for older hotels, the rooms are small; there's no gym, breakfast is extremely basic, and the rooms only have a bed and a chair—not even a coffee machine. But that was to be expected.

I was very happy with the experience overall. The location is excellent — just a 7-minute walk to Times Square, 5 minutes to 5th Avenue, and about a 15–20-minute walk to Central Park. It’s close to major attractions, subway stations, and plenty of restaurants or gyros cart, which makes it a perfect base for exploring the city. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, ideal for a short stay or just spending the night after a busy day. I really appreciated the coffee machine in the room, which was a nice bonus for a quick morning boost. The Wi-Fi connection was decent and stable enough. The only small downside was that no bottled water was provided, so it’s a good idea to bring your own. Overall, a great value and convenient choice if you’re looking for a simple, comfortable stay in a prime Manhattan location.

Location is great, just 1 block away from the 32nd St station on the green no. 6 metro line and 3 blocks east of Koreatown in Manhattan. Room is relatively spacious for a 3-star hotel, but our single-queen bed was actually a full-size bed and there was no room left to correct the wrong bed type for the 3 night stay. It was up to mid-80 deg F daily, and the air conditioning did not work well during the day, even when the A/C unit temp control dial was set at ”Maximum cool” (it was quite noisy as well). The complimentary bottled water was a good perk. The fixed shower glass divider (with any door) was too narrow, and the bathroom floor got wet after a shower.

I wasn’t sure where to stay in New York. I chose the AKA Nomad because of a previous good experience with the AKA in Washington, DC. The room was decent and roomy with lots of storage space and space for working in. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent and very punctual. Staff were basically polite. It’s not really walking distance to Broadway but there are subway lines in short walking distance. There are two elevators and you do have to wait a few minutes most times to go upstairs or downstairs. The main shortcoming was the small sink in the premium room. The fitness center is also small, really just a treadmill, bike, and elliptical with some dumbbells This hotel is suitable for business travelers.

The location is great, close to Koreatown and Macy's, and the 1 train at 28th Street is just about a 2-minute walk away. There are lots of food options nearby! The hotel isn't too tall, so the elevators aren't usually crowded, and all the staff are very nice! It's also super convenient for temporary parking right in front. Excellent value for money, I'd definitely stay here again!

Now Now NoHo offers a classic capsule experience that will feel very familiar if you have traveled through Tokyo. The pods are undeniably small but efficiently equipped with the essentials, including a comfortable bed, a nice robe, and a soft blanket. It is a good idea to prepare your own slippers for moving between your pod and the shared facilities, as the toilets are located within each wing and in the basement. Finding affordable accommodation in New York is a challenge, and while the price might seem high compared to other countries, it is a functional find for the city. The lack of an elevator and windows means the space can feel a bit confined if you spend too much time inside, but the surrounding neighborhood is a major highlight. You will find plenty of interesting gentrification nearby, including several cool design shops and cafes to explore.

Ssoysam 2026.04.02
This hotel is located in Midtown on 8th Avenue, not far from Penn Station, making it very convenient for transportation. It's an old building with no elevator. The hotel is on the top floor, so you'll need to climb 59 steps to reach the front desk. The staff are helpful and will even assist you with carrying luggage upstairs. The rooms are small, partitioned off from a larger open-plan space, about three square meters each. Your suitcase can only fit under the bed. The top of the room is open for ventilation, which means there's almost no soundproofing. It's a bit like Hong Kong's 'cage homes' – if one person talks, almost everyone in the other rooms can hear it. Because of this, the hotel repeatedly emphasizes maintaining quiet. They provide free drinking water, and there's a microwave and refrigerator available for use. Breakfast includes milk, bread, butter, coffee, juice, cake, cereal, fruit, and soy milk. The hotel's background seems to be Nepalese Hinduism, as they emphasize vegetarianism. No meat products are allowed into the hotel, not even eggs.

GGuest UserThe staff were amazingly pleasant, the hotel was so cool and clean, the room was so modern… I loved the whole thing! My only negative was that the conditioner in the bathroom was empty but if I was staying for more than one night and if I asked for it to be filled, I guarantee they would with no hesitation. Such a great hotel and a quick walk to Barclays Center!

KKitrynThis hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

MMs. ShaniquaOmgosh ... hotel was really nice! Breakfast was excellent and it lasted til 11a, which is pretty awesome for those that like to sleep late. So many options (hot, cold and dry). They offer bacon, sausage, scrambled/cold boiled eggs and breakfast potatoes. Whole fruit (apples and bananas), sliced fruit (melons and pineapples). Cold and hot cereal (oatmeal). Yogurt and granola. You can make your own waffles or pancakes (such a cool machine). Make your own toast and/or select from many pastries or muffins available. So many options! You can even place an order vs. eating from the buffet. They also allow carry-out and to-go boxes. Drink options at the buffet include: coffee, O.J. and apple juice. PLEASE NOTE: There's a separate fee for breakfast if not selected when booking. Having said this, the hotel does not have microwaves in the room, just a fridge. There are microwaves located on each floor though (along w/ vending machines -both are in same location). Our room was spotless and absolutely spacious (no deviation from website)! We arrived way beyond check-in and did call once we knew we'd arrive later than expected. Spoke with front desk staff who assured everything would be OK, only to arrive and find that our room (which was already paid in full) had been given away. The hotel was only able to provide us a King and a rollaway bed. Of course we were disappointed, but the next morning the hotel Mgr. made everything right. Having said that, the rollaway bed is THE HARDEST THING EVER. We bring our own everything (e.g. bedding, cleaning supplies, etc.) so we were able to make it work and make it comfortable. So much so, we'd chosen to not to be moved to the room we'd originally booked. It rained our entire stay which is what caused us to arrive late in the first place (that's a whole 'notha story). Anyway, the hotel had a few small trash bins about the lobby catching leaks here and there, but that didn't stop anything. I barely even noticed. Had I not been recording how beautiful the hotel was inside, I would've never noticed. Parking is $30/day, it's NYC what do you expect? 🤭 There's also parking on the street if you can get spot. Careful though, NYC parking signs can cause confusion for those not familiar with the City's play on words. All in all, this was great stay for us and I'd certainly stay again. Oh, I forgot to mention -I did! Yes, I extended our stay another night because the hotel and location was exceptional! p.s. they also offer a seated bar area. Overall: 10/10✨️

CcolaffeeThe room was incredibly tiny, and the facilities were far from satisfactory. The front desk staff was even worse. When I had a nosebleed in the morning, they showed no concern whatsoever. In fact, when I asked about the deposit, their attitude became even more hostile. All things considered, this has to be the most outrageous hotel I've ever stayed in.

DDeclan ConnellAwesome location, hotel is nice with nice lobby, nice reception staff and nice bar at the back; but there just seemed to be missing things for a 4 star hotel for example; No lobby control - we had our stay line up with schools and students just stood all in the lobby blocking doors and exits and basically ran around with instruments forcing themselves into lifts with friends already in line- think we got stuck a few times with 15 minute waits. You’d think there’d be staff directing these kids to slow down or have better control in a 4 star hotel.   Amenities - the room didn’t have a fridge, the tv kept turning off, I called maintenance as the hair dry didn’t work and no one came up to replace as promised. Safety - lastly had basically a druggie threaten us with a knife/box cutter as soon as we walked out the hotel and the bag/door men just watched - so yes it’s a “nice” hotel but they really need to do some minor changes to keep that 4 star service and not just the look of it.

GGuest UserThe location is absolutely fantastic, just perfect!!! It's a 1-minute walk to Grand Central Station and the subway, about a 3-minute walk to Summit One Vanderbilt, around an 8-minute walk to the Public Library, within a 10-15 minute walk to the UN, and about a 15-minute walk to the Empire State Building. Times Square is also within a 15-20 minute walk. All other tourist attractions are easily accessible via the subway at Grand Central. The hotel's price is incredibly, incredibly reasonable, and the location offers amazing value for money!!! The room itself is also spacious!!! GGuest UserThe price was quite a good deal for New York, especially with a discount. The facilities and decor are up to Hilton's standards, but!! It was incredibly, unbelievably crowded. Expect to wait about an hour just to park, with only one staff member working. Checking in at the front desk, buying coffee, and even storing luggage all involved long queues. It seems like a lot of airline crew stay here too, so definitely factor in extra time for everything. There are tons of hidden fees. The deposit was given as a voucher, luggage storage cost extra, and even the in-room mini-bar items were charged. Given the location and the total price of $150, I guess I'll just put up with it.
