The Staff at the Farmhouse are excellent. I do feel that the place in general needs a bit of a spring clean. The floor in bathroom in our room and the skirtings need a good scrub. Quite a few dusty areas

I always stay at the Farm House Hotel when on business in the area. The best experience each time I stay there. I've tried other hotels and lodges, but the Farm House Hotel is the best.

The hotel was neat and clean. The food was amazing. There were some improvements needed in the unit and instructions on using the hot tub but otherwise an enjoyable stay.

What a wonderful little gem. Lovely cosy farmhouse atmosphere with beautiful views of the lagoon. Excellent restaurant on site, which we recommend you pre-book, even as a guest staying there. I would definitely recommend a lagoon facing room, otherwise you will find yourself overlooking the parking lot and buildings behind. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

I love Langebaan and Paradise Beach, but the quality of Speelhuis where i stay every year (for more than 9 years already) has gone down drastically. We really loved going to Speelhuis but this year we never saw anybody who is working there. Other years we were welcomed by the most joyful, pleasant lady (Sylvia) who made us feel special and helped where she can and every day we saw her to ask us if we need anything etc. This year we never saw anybody except the morning we had to leave the security (i think he is security) came and asked us when we are leaving (half an hour) before departure time. That was very annoying to say the least. The inside of the lofts have not changed at all, the wall plug were hanging loose, the glassware and cutlery were not clean. We really are not used to this at all.

Theres's no contact with a host, just What App. Missed a personal touch. Scored 7.07.0 Self-catering so no breakfast. The room was very nice, the bed very comfortable, TV channels good, nice fridge/freezer, nice patio by the roadside. Location excellent, PROBLEM AREA There was not a single drawer in the room, so nowhere to put your books, phones, iPads, magazines, keys, glasses, wallet, handbag, etc There were two bedside pedestals which could have had 2/3 drawers each, but had only metal legs. There was a kitchen table which could have had 2/4 drawers but didn't have any. There was nowhere to put your food or grocery items.
