Seehotel Litz

Nasty hotel, I feel robbed. We booked a 2 night stay in what we thought was a 4 star hotel but ended up leaving after 1 night. Room was cramped and very dusty, I saw spiderwebs under the writing desk and under the bed. The bathroom was so small that an average sized adult can’t even sit straight on the toilet or take a shower without bumping their heads. The glass shower door was defective, so was the shower drain cover and the trash bin. Bathroom smelled like hot garbage. Filthy marks all over the door and sink. One hour after arrival we complained at the reception but no solutions were offered than. Receptionist acknowledged that they were aware of the problems in the bathroom but they still chose to rent out the room for a stiff 240 euro per night. Breakfast was very understaffed, and compaired to every other breakfast I have enjoyed in German hotels this was very poor. After the first night when we complained again at the reception we were offered to move to another room, but we had to pay an extra 85 euro’s because the room was more expensive. We just took our loss and left after that one night, even though we had to pay 80% for the second night. We experienced a very unsatisfying one night stay in a dirty room for 460 euro. Always read reviews before you make reservations, if I had done my homework I would have seen the tons of negative feedback for Sheisshotel Litz.
