No frills inn. Good location. Loads of eateries nearby and located by the chenang beach. The room was very basic. Slight confusion on the water heater (turn it off to switch it on)..mattress was a bit stiff. The breakfast was quite delicious but the team need to reorganized themselves to serve better. But they are helpful just need better and professional guidance.

The resort is well maintained and the room is very spacious. Breakfast has a wide selection of food and is delicious. There are many facilities for different age group. Over we are very happy with our stay.

The location is definitely amazing. It’s an older hotel but beautiful the food and beverage staff FIRDAUS, WILDAN And the beach bar staff AZIZI, FARHAN, LUTFI, AZIILAH & HAKIMI made our trip so amazing they made us feel like we were part of the family. It was amazing every day. I couldn’t wait to see them now the spa on the other hand was a different story. My husband surprised me with a massage. Manny Petty. The woman did not know what she was doing as far as manicures and pedicures. I had gel polish. She didn’t know how to get it off. Some woman gave her a drill. she burned my toe, bruised my toe. I stopped that and said I no longer want a pedicure because she didn’t know what she was doing and then when we went to do a manicure, I told her do not cut my nails. She cut every single nail in my finger before I could stop her. It was insane. I walked out and told the guy at the front desk. I did not get a manicure. I did not get a pedicure. I do not want to be charged for it yet. I was charged for it so I went to the front desk and spoke to the manager, and he assured me he would have it taken off our day came to leave very sad and it was still on the bill. I just don’t understand it so I’d really like it. Take it off and I’d like an email to that effect at ********************* Otherwise, I’m gonna have to go on the travel website and let them know not to use your spa services. Nobody contacted me. I walked out of there crying my eyes out. It’s insane the beach bar staff Definitely made me feel better when I was crying my eyes out…. She had a tinfoil on my toes for 35 minutes and then tried to drill it and left that huge burn mark bruise on my big toe. It was horrible and devastating. Please refund the charges.

A Memorable Return to Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah – Great Food, Modern Rooms, and Friendly Service This was our second stay at Aloft Langkawi, and we chose to come back because the food is fantastic, the rooms are modern, and the staff always makes us feel genuinely welcome. One major highlight is the breakfast – it’s simply awesome, with a wide variety of delicious options to kickstart your day.Good atmosphere & view at the pool However, we did encounter a minor inconvenience. Our initial room, 218, was located directly below the 24-hour gym. Unfortunately, the sound of weights being dropped and equipment being moved above was quite disruptive, creating noticeable thuds that occasionally made the ceiling vibrate. Thankfully, the staff and manager responded quickly and efficiently, arranging a smooth room change, which we greatly appreciated. Another thing that could use improvement is the hairdryer in the room – it feels a bit dated, and my wife, with long hair, found it a bit of a challenge. The washroom ventilation could also be better, as it tends to get stuffy after a shower. On a brighter note, the live band at the dinner area is fantastic, creating a great atmosphere to unwind in the evening. While we didn’t opt for the Saturday seafood buffet, even though it was my birthday, this was mainly because the promotion (pay for two adults, get one adult free) isn’t particularly couple-friendly. Instead, we chose the à la carte menu, which was equally impressive and added to our overall dining experience. Additionally, parking is convenient, which is always a plus, especially in a popular destination like Langkawi. Overall, despite a few minor issues, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend Aloft Langkawi for its excellent service, modern design, and outstanding dining options. With a few small tweaks, it could be the perfect getaway.

It was a perfect stay. The staffs are nice and friendly. The ocean view with infinite pool at Horizon is breathtaking. The breakfast at Langkawi kitchen is yummy. Unfortunately HAIYAN was not open for breakfast. Will definitely come back!

I recently stayed at Mercure Hotel Langkawi for 3 days and 2 nights, and once again, it was a fantastic experience! This is my second time staying here, and it’s always my first choice whenever I visit Langkawi. The room amenities, environment, and overall condition of the hotel were superb. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making my stay truly relaxing. One area of improvement would be the check-in process, as I had to wait until 4:30 PM for my room to be ready. However, the staff were very apologetic and handled the situation professionally. As a kind gesture, they offered me a room upgrade, which I truly appreciated. It definitely made up for the delay and even got me more excited about my stay. Well done, Mercure Hotel! Your service and hospitality continue to impress me. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others and look forward to staying again in the future.

Overall Our stay was very pleasant, and the excellent service and friendly staff significantly contributed to the positive experience. Pros: 1. Excellent amenities: The rooftop pool offered stunning sea and sunset views. We especially loved the jacuzzi, which provided good privacy as it was separate from the main pool. The 24-hour gym, with its sea-facing view, was also a highlight. 2. Each room featured a bathtub, adequately sized for one person. 3. The hotel's location was convenient, near Cenang Beach. While not within walking distance, Grab rides were readily available and inexpensive (approximately RM5-6 per trip). Several massage spas were also within a 5-7 minute walk.” 4. The hotel staff, including those at the front desk, porters, and restaurant staff, were consistently helpful and friendly. 5. The hotel is new, and requests for replenished toiletries were handled promptly. Cons: 1. The food at the rooftop pool bar was disappointing and overpriced. While the cocktails and beer were satisfactory, the food quality was subpar. We ordered calamari, which was shockingly small (see attached pictures - fewer than 10 pieces, with the first two large pieces being onion rings with no squid). This small plate cost RM28, which felt excessive. We would have preferred to spend that amount on another cocktail. 2. The breakfast experience was underwhelming. Although the restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, the food itself was not tasty. The main course was served as a set meal (one serving per person), and the beverage and salad bar options were limited. Over our 4D3N stay, the menu remained unchanged. 3. Daily room service consisted only of replenishing toiletries, towels, and water bottles, and making the bed. In four days, the floor was not vacuumed once. There was noticeable hair on the floor, which was never cleaned up. Even at home, we typically sweep our floors aevery other day. 4. Sea view rooms on the 6th floor have their view largely obstructed by trees.

Had an amazing experience staying at this resort. This is a place for proper rest. Secluded, surrounded by nature and beautiful views, quiet. As beautiful as the resort was, people working there are actually the reason why we would recommend this to all of our friends. We had an unfortunate situation of family member getting quite ill, and staff made sure we got access to doctor, transport, and all of their assistance came with so much kindness that we would be forever grateful. We would love to come back. Thank you for everything.

Overall I had a very nice stay here, their staffs were very helpful and attentive. The resort is a bit secluded but understandable since they have private beach. Remember to arrange ur transportation like renting a car earlier. The Grab price from resorts to other locations are very expensive. And I don’t suggest renting motorcycles coz at night the road that lead to the resort is very dark and eerie I must say haha. The beach was clean, our room was so big and we can turn the tv to our bedside haha! Lotsss of electric plugs. Movies options was a lot. Facilities are also a lot. Bath tub has bath salt okayy yall! The swimming pool near their cafe is a bit scary though coz it’s really deep like head level deep with no life guard on duty. The price of their foods & drinks were definitely on the higher price side. But we didn’t mind coz there was a night market on Friday just 9mins from the resort. The downside is the rooms that are not ocean view don’t have an elevator so it can be tiring to go up and down. They have quite a lot of breakfast options, but the taste are only so so. But i did enjoy my stay here! 🩷
