A Truly Magical Experience – Beyond Expectations! I recently stayed at Berjaya Resort Langkawi, and I have to say it was one of the most magical and memorable experiences ever! I initially booked the *Rainforest Chalet*, but when I arrived at the hotel with my kids, something extraordinary happened. As I was getting ready to be transferred to the chalet, the assistant manager, Hafi (if I’m not mistaken), stopped the buggy and personally told me that they had decided to upgrade me to the **Premier Chalet on Water**. He mentioned that after seeing me check in with my children, they thought the Rainforest Chalet might not be as comfortable for us. I was completely speechless! The staff’s thoughtfulness and kindness made me feel so welcome and special, like I was being treated like family. What made this even more amazing was that I had only booked the room two hours before check-in via Trip.com, and requested a small anniversary celebration. I didn’t expect much given the short notice, but to my surprise, the staff went out of their way to decorate the room beautifully with towel and bed decor that made the occasion so much more special. I couldn’t believe how efficient and sweet they were in such a short time! What really stood out was the personal WhatsApp message I received from Ira (the guest service team) after check-in. She provided all the menus from the hotel restaurants and a list of activities around Langkawi, including night market schedule around the town! As someone who also works in the hotel industry, I think all hotels should adopt this approach. It keeps guests well-informed and makes them feel truly appreciated and connected throughout their stay. This small gesture made me feel like I had everything I needed at my fingertips! From the bottom of my heart, thank you Berjaya Resort Langkawi, I cannot recommend them enough. From the warm welcome to the magical moments they created, this was an experience that my family and I will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated with care, thoughtfulness, and personal attention, this is it!

We’ve been regular repeat visitors to Pelangi Beach Resort since the early 1990s, when we used to bring our children. We make a point of driving to other new resorts in Langkawi whenever they pop up.. But nothing compares to Pelangi!! The beautifully landscaped, wooden chalet concept is like living in a village but with fantastic resort facilities. Staff are super helpful, friendly and hard-working. They always make us feel like we’re returning to see close family. We enjoyed the food buffets in the different restaurants, as well as the entertainment (Pelangi Lounge and Pelangi Grill). Not to mention the beautiful stretch of Pantai Cenang alongside the resort. Can’t rate Pelangi high enough, whether it’s for families or couples.

Had the best stay of our lives right here at Ritz Carlton! The entry level room is huge! We love everything about the room! The bathtub is absolutely huge. His and her sinks. Huge shower area as well. The resort itself is huge. Every restaurant is situated at its own building. Buggy services are available around the clock. Though wait time varies. The service from everybody is excellent. You will feel well taken care of. There is also ample privacy especially if you get their villa. Would definitely love to come back here again!

The property is stunningly beautiful, with lush greenery and breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea. It’s the perfect getaway for families looking for a serene and luxurious vacation spot. A special mention goes to Chef Mahesh Singh Rawat, the Indian Sous Chef, who went above and beyond to cater to our dietary requirements. His thoughtful gesture of making delicious tea for my family was truly appreciated and added a warm touch to our stay. The tea was delightful, and it’s these small acts of kindness that make a big difference. My family and I had an amazing time at the resort, enjoying the various amenities and the picturesque surroundings. We created some wonderful memories together that we will cherish forever. Pros: Excellent Location: Situated close to Kuah Town, it’s convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring Langkawi’s local culture. The view of the Andaman Sea from the resort is one of its biggest attractions. Spacious Rooms: Guests often praise the spaciousness of the rooms, particularly the suites that come with kitchenettes, making it a great option for families or those looking for longer stays. Infinity Pool: The resort boasts a large infinity pool with a view over the sea, which is a highlight for many guests who enjoy lounging and taking in the serene surroundings. Friendly Staff: The staff at Dayang Bay are frequently mentioned for their friendliness and helpful service, adding to the overall positive experience for most visitors. Cons: Aging Facilities: Some visitors have commented that the facilities, while functional, are starting to show signs of wear and tear. Updates and maintenance could improve the overall appeal of the resort. The hotel is some distance away from the F&B / eateries outside. Needed to book a cab if we wanted to eat out. However the overall environment / ambiance of the resort is very relaxing, private beach feels utterly exclusive. Staffs were helpful too, could reach them via what’s app chat which they’d reply almost instantly. Buggy service was also always on time.

I booked 2 rooms for the water villa suit. I request for lower level room due to old folk in families. 2nd floor room seems old & smaller, but need go through staircase to reached the room. 3rd floor room looks new, larger room and have nicer view, but it was dirty in the balcony. The rooms is far from the lobby and all facilities, but they provided 24 hours buggy service. Staff giving a fast response when request any bell service. Overall still good since we only stay for 1 night. Staff is helpful and friendly.

This hotel has an excellent location, making it very convenient for getting around. The staff are warm and friendly, providing outstanding service, especially the team in the children's playroom.

My Overall stay with Alia was nice. The staff was super supportive and nice towards the customers. The resort has sufficient space for car parking and lobby. The rooms are clean. The ground floors have a nice balcony access. The property is nearby airport. The property is also nearby famous tourist attractions like: Langkawi Skycab, Sandy Skull Beach, Crocodile Adventureland etc. Improvement Area: Providing clean and quality vanities like towels, toiletries etc., Room size is relatively small, The pool in the property is more for kids. The property is nearby airport but a little far from Chenang Beach. Also, the property is far from good restaurants and cafe.
