1) Located at Kedawang area which is opposite Holiday Villa & next to Aloft, If the Grab driver can't locate the place.
2) The mural on the wall depicts "Cactus 🌵Inn" If u don't realise where is it after alighting from the Grab. 🤓 Friendly staff.
3) More of a private own premise converted into a comfortable Inn which has a little cafe next to it that serves light menu & plays good old 60s & 70s music that'll reminisce the past. 🎶👍🏻 Of course, the Inn doesn't look like what it has illustrated in the booking platform. More plants & less cleanliness!
4) Room facilities were well equipped wt mineral water, coffee sachet, hairdryer, TV, aircond, fan, shower gel, towels & toilet roll. 🤗
5) A cosy place for the night wt free wifi But Full of insect bugs flying in the bathroom! I killed 10 insect bugs, I guess they flew in from the bathroom window which is situated next to the backyard. Ensure you close your bathroom door to avoid the irritating insect bugs in your room! Otherwise it's a quiet place just for a night. There's another cafe Next to Cactus Inn called "ARC" that serves Nyonya & Portuguese food! Don't miss the Chicken Pongteh!! 😋👍🏻 Friendly staffs though price can be steep!

We arrived in the evening and checked in quickly. In fact, the guest house is a row of rooms on the inside of its restaurant. The cuisine is delicious and budget-friendly - I recommend. The staff is polite. The place is tired, but has its own atmosphere, either Rastafarian or "like in the village at grandma's". We had a room with two beds, cramped in the passages. The shower in the bathroom is without a threshold and slope, there is a mop right there 😂 That is, you bathe and you need to at least clear the passage to the toilet. If you are ready for such entertainment, then it's fine)
They allowed a free late check-out at 13:00, a later one (we asked for 18:00) for 70 ringgit was offered, leaving luggage - no problem. In the room: kettle, mugs, hair dryer.
The furniture and rooms are very tired, the linen is clean, the towels are old.
The beach is a 7-9 minute walk across the road and the territory of the first line hotel.

terrible location of the hotel, between large hotels, in a nook. We booked 4 nights, but were only able to stay one. There is no direct access to the beach, you need to go around the VIP hotels along a curve. The beach is large, there are no people, the bottom is slimy and muddy. The air conditioner turns on who knows how. there is no soap, one towel for 2 people and that’s all, there are dogs living on the chairs in front of the room, fed by the hotel owner. Of the 6 hotels we visited on this trip, this is the only one where, upon check-in, they took money, supposedly a tourist tax, and did not return it. disgusting hotel. If you want to ruin your holiday, go there.

As always another excellent stay at Cactus Inn. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable; air conditioning and fans; fridge; and room safe. Lip and Liew are great hosts and all the staff so helpful and friendly in the restaurant as well. Cactus had just started to do breakfasts when we were there. A nice little menu to suit local and western tastes at reasonable prices. You can't beat Cactus Inn for budget accommodation.

Great hosts , Lipp and Liew, accommodation clean and comfortable, stayed for 4 week , the food in the restaurant was fantastic and very cheap, can't wait to return next year . See all the friends l made.
