Family-friendly Hotels in Lanzhou

The main draw of this hotel is the location and leisure facilities. If you like to keep fit or need to get fit - then this is a perfect hotel for that - as you can integrate it into your trip whether it be for business or holiday. The pool and gym are the most impressive facilities I’ve come across in a hotel. If you can’t swim I’m sure there are lessons available which would be a great thing to do no matter the purpose of your trip. Thought the room was comfortable enough but I suppose if you weren’t using the hotel facilities you may feel it’s overpriced - we didn’t think this because we used the excellent pool and gym. We had a couple of cocktails in the lounge bar that were excellent and the service in the hotel was very attentive.

The location is really convenient. The front desk staff is patient and enthusiastic, and will answer any inquiries. It is very close to the Pedestrian Street, Zhongshan Iron Bridge, Baita Temple (Baita Mountain Park), Lanzhou Forest of Steles, within walking distance. We went down the mountain and took a sheepskin raft and ate at the Asiya Xiguan restaurant. There is Watsons downstairs in the hotel, and I added lip balm, and the northwest is still quite dry. The hawthorn candied haws at the candied haws store at the door is delicious, and the sugar is crunchy. The sugar of this kind of candied haws in Suzhou is sticky. It should be enough to stay for two nights, and you can also go to Zhengning Night Market. We flew from Dunhuang to Lanzhou, and stayed near the airport for the first night. Afterwards, we felt that we should have stayed here on Zhangye Road for the first night. Another thing is that there is a Michelle Ice City store on the sheepskin raft. Next to it is a specialty store. It is really cheaper than the ones on the highway or in the airport. Very solid. I didn't think about buying cigarettes until I arrived at the airport. Lanzhou Jixiang sold for 32 packs at the airport, and 25 packs outside. It sells for 28 outside the Three Fortress, and 40 at the airport.

The talented musicians created a vibrant and unforgettable atmosphere, adding an extra touch of charm to my stay. All in all, this hotel's exceptional customer service and outstanding facilities made my experience truly unforgettable.

Crowne Plaza is a big name, but why hasn't it improved? The room hygiene details are not in place, and the facilities are in poor condition. For example, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the scale is just for decoration without electricity. There is no place to put the hand towels and face towels. Do they have to be piled on the countertop? The toilet is not smart, but can there be a place to put the phone? Can the service be more careful? Is the efficiency good? Are there no shortage of customers?

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel. It is located right across from the Lanzhou train station. The area is very busy with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. It is very easy to use the subway right next to the train station to go around the city. There's also a bus terminal right next to the subway station.

There are no shortcomings and no highlights (Lanzhou) Wanda's high-end hotel is good in all aspects. As a hotel that has been open for more than ten years, it has been well maintained in all aspects. However, from today's perspective, there are not many amazing places. The only thing that caught my eye may be the height of the room, which is about 3.5 meters. It is really spacious [laughing and crying] The hotel is close to the highway exit. Ningwozhuang and Hilton are on this street. It is indeed convenient, but it is not next to the Yellow River. Customers who require exterior views must go to Hyatt. Hilton, which is also not near the river, has high floors. The view of more than 50 floors is quite transparent, which is definitely not comparable to the 20th floor. All the hardware facilities are available, and the main decoration style is a combination of Chinese and Western styles. The three-separated bathroom, swimming pool, and gym are unambiguous. The super-large lobby on the first floor is matched with the giant chandelier on the roof, and the sense of luxury is overwhelming. However, some of the furnishings and arrangements inside the room are not satisfactory. First of all, the intelligentization is very ordinary. There are not many hotels of this grade that do not have electric curtains. Secondly, the layout of the room is too mediocre, that is, the same structure. This is the executive room type upgraded by the front desk. I don’t understand what the difference is between this and the ordinary one. . . ; Finally, there are some details, such as the water retaining strip of the shower door is about to fall off, and the lower frame of the door is too low from the ground, and it is difficult to put the floor towel at the door and close the door. In summary, it will not disappoint you, but there is no surprise. The service is still OK. The girl at the front desk speaks softly. Check-in and check-out are relatively quick, and communication with the door greeter about parking matters is also relatively smooth. As for compared with several other competitors in Lanzhou, I personally feel that there is no advantage. It mainly depends on the price. If the price is the same, I will probably not choose here.

I went back to Lanzhou for the Spring Festival and stayed for eight consecutive nights. This was also the hotel I booked after reading reviews before traveling. After checking in, I found it was really good. The front desk was very enthusiastic. I originally booked a double bed room. When I saw that I was with my child, I immediately said that I would change it to a twin bed room. The room was large and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows and air conditioning. It was cleaned in time every day. Fruits and coffee were given free of charge during the Spring Festival. The experience in all aspects was in line with the five-star standard. I recommend that you consider staying! In addition, the restaurant of the same name next to the hotel is delicious and the private room environment is comfortable. I ate several meals in a row, and both adults and children liked it very much! The hotel has a superior geographical location. The Tuanjiexincun subway station is 100 meters to the right of the door. The Jinqiang beef noodles next to the subway entrance must be punched in for breakfast every day! It was a perfect experience!

This holiday inn is the best of all hotels I have traveled in China. They are welcoming, staff is friendly and quick, and breakfast is good with an amazing price and location. It is located right next to one of the biggest malls and night markets in Lanzhou. I especially want to thank Lydia Li (李晓亚) front office manager for her exceptional help. She greeted us and introduced us to the culture and experiences in Lanzhou, and was most helpful in arranging appointments. She was the one that really brightened up our trip in China.
