Our experience was great for a last minute thing. I would say we usually stay in a big chain but have decided for last 2 year to start giving to small businesses. Our host wullie was great. The gardens were beautiful although bit noisy with unruly kids but didn't ruin our day. The rooms are basic and we had no room to move . Sofa bed pretty uncomfortable if we are honest so we just shared the bed which was so comfortable. We had a very tight access to the balcony which wasn't great but again we coped. I'm going to say if you are bigger than a size 14 the toilets tight. We managed just fine. Maybe updated bit but considering we booked day before . The location was perfect and all in all we have a real calm experience so just what we needed. I would definitely stay again as I've pointed out couple things but that's my opinion. Our wee getaway was absolutely amazing. Beds as I said are so comfy but sofa bed not so much. But in this current climate I get it. Thanks to all staff. Suzanne

Very friendly clean welcoming hotel delivering great value for money. The breakfasts excellent and a good different bar venue which we really enjoyed 😉 Comfortable beds Airy rooms. Decent showers.

Very welcoming hosts. Nothing was too much bother. The room was very clean and bright with a great bed. Great breakfast, especially the sausages. Good location, and you can walk into town. We'd definitely stay there again. In addition, the owner kindly closed the boot of my car, which I had left open. My clubs were saved

Excellent, comfortable, clean hotel. Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff and great breakfast. Good location for the main Largs town which is a short walk along the promenade. Parking is available on hotel forecourt or in surrounding roads. I will definitely stay there again.

Comfortable bed, huge room, large balcony, great views, great location, staff very friendly , good breakfast, good price, would definitely stay again. Great wee find of a hotel, can’t wait to stay again hopefully for longer next time.!!!!!!!

The Woodhouse is a wonderful place to stay in Largs with ample parking. Lovely staff and amazing breakfast. Great wee bar with comfy sofas. The beds were super comfy and bedrooms/bathrooms spotlessly clean. The family running this hotel really make you feel at home. They are very kind and welcoming.

Thank you Woodhouse Hotel, owner kept in touch right up until out stay. Stay here everytime we are in Largs for business. Excellent service from the booking stage til check out. Room are always ready for our arrival. We are Faroes so we look forward to the fabulous full Scottish Breakfast served to us from 07:30am, sets us right up for our day ahead. Nothing is to much hassle for this family hotel. Looking forward to our next stay very soon.. Highly Recommend Thanks Woodhouse Hotel.

Great little hotel. Friendly staff. Well priced. I only stayed 1 night as was in Largs for a family birthday party. But wouldn’t hesitate to book again. I had a lovely stay. I need to add up to 200 characters, so here’s some numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10.

Friendly and functional Hotel. Well served bar. Comfortable bed , good shower. All facilities required for a break away are available. Anything that isn’t, just ask. Good location with parking. Very good value for money in the local area.
