Great little 4-6 room boutique lodge one block off the beach. Hosts Catalina and Jose are attentive, knowledgeable, kind, funny and happy to assist. It is only a short walk to the beach and on the beach there are more shells than you can imagine at low tide. Rooms have AC, fan and showers with a hammock on the lower levels. There is a pool, a shaded covered area, restaurant and bar with the best fish and meat hamburgers and fish tacos. There is a upper yoga area. The atmosphere is quiet, serene while the service is attentive to your needs and requests. Very clean and beautifully landscaped. Breakfast is included and is both generous portions and very tasty!

Nayal Lodge is a hidden gem in Las Peñitas Leon We stayed with my 15 year old daughter for 4 nights at Nayal. And really enjoyed the property. The staff and owners Catalina & Jose are excellent. The property is well maintained, clean and the description on the travel websites is accurate.The cabanas have ceiling fans and the beds are very comfortable. In addition the food is great. And the masseuse Eva is excellent. Highly recommend Nayal. We will definitely go back. Thanks Cata and Jose for your hospitality.

This place is amazing. I stayed in the upstairs room as well as the downstairs room. Both are great for different reasons. Downstairs has air conditioning and the hammock on the porch with a few chairs. Upstairs doesn’t have air, but has fans and was just as comfortable. It also has a little seating area with ocean views. The staff here are so helpful and the owners were amazing. They helped me organize transportation and they can book a massage (she was so great I’ve had two massages from her so far on this trip). The food here is also delicious. I had a pasta dish last night that was better than meals I had in Italy. If you get lucky you will get to meet the two cats and dog that live here too. I can’t wait to come back. Oh! I almost forgot! The pool was just perfect too.

This was my second visit to this hotel and once again I had a wonderful stay. You will always receive a warm welcome from the owner Catalina. I opted for a deluxe suite this visit and it was absolutely wonderful. The view from the balcony in the upstairs bedroom was fabulous. The food in the restaurant is delicious, it is freshly made on the premises and is typically Spanish, you have to try everything!!! I left my iPad behind in the bedroom and the owner Catalina went out her way to contact me and kept it safely until I could collect it. Thank you so much! I really recommend this place for its tranquility, excellent food, beautiful grounds with a refreshing pool and of course the service and the attention that the owner’s and staff pride themselves on.

Beautiful place and wonderful hosts couple from Spain, they make all the food from scratch and you can tell that the Spanish kitchen is represented. The area is very calm, not a lot of people or things to do, but if you are looking for something quiet close to the beach this is a great spot.

Great place to get away from it all. My wife and I visited here while on a trip to Leon. We were looking for a place to unwind and relax for awhile without the kids. My wife found the perfect place. Modern, clean rooms, beautiful garden pool area, and a restaurant with a diverse and delicious menu. We ate all our meals there as we wanted to try everything they had to offer and we were not disappointed. Even if you’re not staying, the food and drinks are reason alone to check it out. Catalina,Jose, and the staff run a great operation that’s definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Leon or Las Peñitas.

Stayed at Nayal Lodge for two nights, the place its a gem, rooms clean, and well appointed, comfortable bed and pillows, shower with great water pressure. The pool area its totally shaded under palm trees, relaxing, and clean, big for a four room hotel. And the most important part was the food and service, the food and drinks were well prepared, not your Nicaraguan fare, but everything was delicious, and the whole staff and owners where very professional and attentive. Overall this is on of the top hotels to stay in Nicaragua. Me alojé en Nayal Lodge dos noches. El lugar es una joya. Las habitaciones están limpias y bien equipadas, la cama y las almohadas son cómodas y la ducha tiene muy buena presión. La piscina está totalmente a la sombra de las palmeras, es relajante y limpia, y es grande para ser un hotel de cuatro habitaciones. Y lo más importante fue la comida y el servicio: la comida y las bebidas estaban bien preparadas, no al estilo nicaragüense, pero todo estaba delicioso, y todo el personal y los dueños fueron muy profesionales y atentos. En resumen, este es uno de los mejores hoteles para alojarse en Nicaragua.

Precioso hotel con una atención sensacional, las habitaciones son excepcionales con una bella decoración y muy grandes, la piscina es increíble, muy limpia y la comida es de otro nivel, casera 100 por 100 y al lado de la playa, definitivamente la mejor opción en la playa
