Resort does more & more ”nickel & dimeing” of petty charges now and petty service cuts (ie. coffee only supplied on first day). Building elevator service is not reliable. As this resort ages- more maintenance issues emerge !
Stayed at the Palms Resort and ****** with my family for a short get away weekend. We picked the Palms Resort and ****** since they had a nice pool setup similar to the resorts in Mexico and Punta Cana on its web site. Overall the hotel had nice clean rooms but our one Queen bed was bad. The resort did have a nice reasonably priced food court with various options like McDonald’s for kids. However, to our surprise despite paying a $36.28 a day resort fee plus tax we could only use one of the pools that was included in that fee. We were also limited to a few chairs away from the pool in a corner since all the whirlpools, glass pools , and all of the lounge chairs near or in the pool had to be purchased for an additional charge or you had to spend over$ 300 in drinks, foods, or at the ******. Entering and swimming at the pool area was like going through airport security. To enter the pool area, the owner (despite in a recent travel article says the owner loves people) had a directive to search all bags so you cannot bring any outside food or drinks. My wife had her bag searched. Both entrances to the pool were heavily guarded by these rude agents and talked to us like we were criminals. Then while sitting in the pool, the one senior agent, screamed across I guess to new agent to “close the damn door at the entrance”. While in the pool they had 2 to 3 security agents in bright yellow shirts walking around the pool enforcing the rules of keeping the regular paying guests out the reserved whirlpools, glass pools, and off the reserved lounge chairs despite almost all of the whirlpools, glass pools, and lounge chairs were empty. Then had 3 manager like people dressed in in shirt/tie with a walkie talkie and one female well dressed, just walking around the pool observing everyone plus a few life guards. Typically at most pools just have the lifeguards. Who wants to swim in this kind of environment with a security guard/manager just waiting to harass the guests when they make a wrong move? Since we could only use one of the pools and the security kicked people out of pool at 545pm (although they advertise the pool is open from 10 am to 6pm)we ended up only spending a short time at the pool during our visit. In summary, Pool security were at the pool not for our safety but to enforce the owners/manager policy of getting people to spend more at the pool or at the hotel/****** if wanted to use all of the pool facilities. We were on a trip in Africa and our hotels were surrounded by armed guards with heavy artillery to keep the guests safe but they remained out of site when on the resort and only saw them when entering or leaving the resort and never harassed the guests like we experienced at the Palms pool. Our children had awesome African experience where the staff, security, and local people were very warm and welcoming that my children want to return to Africa. Kids have no interest to return to the Palms and Resort

It is a pure hotel building, there is no ***, so it is very quiet.
The farthest south hall from the convention center is only a 10-minute walk.
It's a 10-minute taxi ride and a 20-minute walk from the ***** center.
15 minutes drive from the airport.
Breakfast has fixed varieties every day. Scrambled eggs sausage bread milk cereal fruit.
It is a very suitable hotel for business travel, but the only terrible thing is that it can't even connect to the wifi😅, and the hotel staff can't connect to various operations...
a fly in the ointment!

Stayed an extra night for a second reservation. It was convenient to be down there and decided to stay longer because of the annual all summer pub crawl of Santa’s. This was the first meeting spot for the evening. It’s an easy walk back down Fremont because you can see the plaza the entire way. Things to improve on are simply the amount of days in the room and the cleanliness of the A/C-Windows.

From the moment I stepped out of my car the experience was 100% top notch. Employees are pleasant, helpful, smile, and simply made the difference in my stay. I didn’t want to leave it was that good. The staff was awesome, food was great, room was beautiful and the employees love working there. I asked a few and they all said they love working there. Wow!! Love to hear this! I love this place and have shared this experience with family. Now my family wants to experience this hotel when they return to Vegas! Job well done to the entire team. Every leader from the most Senior level to the front line employee should be commended for the awesome culture you have at this hotel. Thank you for making a difference.

My daughter loves the wave pool. Location is a little out of the city centre, rooms are quite for resting. We slept 16 hours straight to recover from jet lag. but will take 20mins to reach city centre if you need to go to city centre for other shows.

The price was right and the location was great. The service was excellent, I actually was offered to the VIP checkin desk only because I looked around and wasn’t sure about where I was going.

Good location and convenient to other MGM hotels. The swimming pool is small but had three of them. Good to chill out for a while. Need to prepare toothbrush and slipper.

Overall is good for this hotel.
Reception: the male staff is nice but he didn’t beg bugs as we are worry about it.
He called to housekeeping and ask for it.
Finally, we got the room and everything is fine.
For Car park/valet service: the valet staff said it’s same price with self parking. Finally it was poor on his approach.
Self packing is $18 per overnight (1 day). Valet is $40 per overnight.
Anyway, Valet area is more safety, if you wanna keep safety, I recommend it. Only the staff approach is poor.
For room: excellent bedroom even though the Boulevard is little bit old wing. The size is good. The view we can see Paris hotel 😂 nice.
For house keeping: it’s not good for the lady on house keeping, around 09xx, she entered the ring and check any people is checked in . Don’t know why she didn’t know the room has people. So annoying.
The cleanliness: very good I can say. Suitable for people to pay higher price for recommendation.

we celebrate our 30th anniversary at this hotel.. the room we booked is very nice, the newly renovated really good since many years before. and room is big with upgrade hi-tech control system.. lights is bright. and they give us breakfast credit for each room, that is surprised us..
but at the last night this hotel having a poor party by some guests, and the music is really load, makes me and my wife can't sleep all night long until 4 AM.. during 2 AM I called the front desk about this and they said they can't do any thing about this, but they can give a ear plug for help only.. it's so sad...because next day I need drive about 5 hrs back to L.A.
any way,. it is good experience during our stay.

GGuest UserI can't possibly express how extraordinary this property and its staff are.. I took a big gamble and placed 6 of our business team here over a conference week even though it was a brand newly rolled out hotel and ****** (which can be problematic typically until they can smooth things out with a bit of time under their belts) but not here! From the very moment we arrived we have been treated like VVIPs in every single way by each and every staff member across the board starting with extraordinary automatic upgrades for our entire team by the utterly charming front desk clerks to absolutely beautifully appointed two room Royal Suites with fantastic views of The ***** and Sphere. The location for anyone attending the Convention Center is one of the best possible placements on the entire ***** and is an easy convenient walk back and forth. The ****** is one of the nicest that we have ever gambled in with gorgeous custom made and super comfortable table seating (just 5 to a blackjack table vs being crammed with 6) with high caliber dealers and pit bosses. The dining options are absolutely first class and exceed expectations in every way with an incredibly varied selection of options that did not disappoint a single time throughout our weeklong stay. Dons Prime stands out as not only the best steakhouse experience in Las Vegas but was voted by our group as one of the top ten restaurants we had all dined in EVER (and that's a high bar with this well traveled group)... Even the food court was exceptional with fantastic made to order bagel sandwiches in the mornings and fabulous pizza as a quick afternoon snack. The cocktail staff was also some of the best that we have experienced as well .. Special mentions go to the lovely lovely ladies at the utterly stunning Bleau Bar positioned at the epicenter of the ******. The girls that assist you with finding a table at this bar go above and beyond to accommodate in even the most hectic of circumstances and work really hard to stay on top of the table turns to move patrons through swiftly and flawlessly to make way for new guests. We experienced them twice and were blown away by how hard they worked to secure lovely seating for our group both times. I truly can't say enough good about this entire experience and we are now firm converts from our previous favorite Aria and are now 100% Team Fontainebleau any time we are in Vegas. Can't wait to return ! Well done on what had to be one very difficult road to get open and staffed to such a flawless effect.

NNjohns13We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and had a lovely stay! The hotel is huge with some great facilities. I am not into the casino scene and it made a change that this was more discreetly placed in the hotel compared to some of the others. Pool area was great. Gym and spa really nice. Lots of lifts so easily could access my floor and room.
There are restaurants and activities throughout the facilities.
Good location and one day we walked the length of the strip! Easy to get Uber or cabs if you want. Also the deuce bus is a few minutes walk round the corner. The big bus open roof tour bus is literally around the corner if you like that.
Daily bedding and towel changes from housekeeping.

GGuest UserBeautiful revamped hotel. Overall a fantastic experience! Gave us a complimentary birthday upgrade to a beautiful huge suite in the ruby tower. They have a couple of towers, but ruby tower is the tower you will want to be in, w a close by self parking garage connected and a more dedicated check in lobby. You also get direct lift lobby access to the gym, pool and juice bar.
Hotel was connected to the casino floor and direct access to plenty of restaurants. We tried 1 of them and even though pricey, it did not disappoint.
Service was decent for a hotel of this size. Rooms were well designed and quite high tech.
Just remember to not touch the sensor activated mini bar at all cost - unless you want to pay through your nose.
Saw that you could order room service and the prices were similar to the restaurant prices we went to, so that was quite nice. Views were ok, not the best but acceptable, we faced the pool and given it was low season, it wasn’t noisy at all.
The carpark felt fairly safe, we noticed security patrolling a couple of times. There is a valet parking option if you like. Great option to stay at as the other hotels on the strip all charge crazy daily parking rates.
Location from the strip is way nearer than it looks, an easy straight road walk down for about 15-20 mins, and you’ll get to the miracle mile shopping centre and the strip. Once you’re back at the hotel, you are away from all the crazy and in a very safe space.
Will definitely recommend this hotel and will be back for sure!
JJason PeterI’d read bad reviews about the Luxor but I couldn’t find a reason why. We booked there to avoid the F1 Congestion further up the strip and realise this is somewhere I would come back and stay again. Room sizes were very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, plenty of food and drink options for all ages. I’ll definitely stay there again.

GGuest UserThe hotel was very nice and had a good location, the problem was that I couldn't use the hair dryer because the electrical connection was damaged (it had signs that something burned) and for safety reasons from a fire I couldn't connect anything, but I had a concert and I couldn't do my hair 😔 the bathroom faucet couldn't be closed and the whole night it was leaking water, very sad so much waste of water, I told the cleaning people, but they only said to close it tightly But I'm sure that wasn't the problem, and the electrical connection, which had already been reported but had not been fixed🤷🏻♀️these problems are a priority in my opinion, and apparently the hotel doesn't care Even though I have such prestige, my stay was frustrating. I really hope that someone from the administration reads this comment and does something. My room was 309 on the 5th floor. Thank you

GGuest UserEnjoyed staying at Excalibur. Location was great. Canyon Tours departed from the hotel.
Only downside for me was the cigarette smell all through the casino made it hard to stay downstairs and gamble. But otherwise everything else was great.

EeM.MGood experience and honest price, with parking space included;) really big room, however, different than I saw in the photos. The building is old and needs to be renovated as it's a little bit too old/destroyed. Unfortunately, the hot water is not available 24/7 so if you want to take a hot shower in the morning, you can forget about it. Downstairs not so many options open as per closure/renovation.
GGuest UserMy leisure, libation, fun, enjoyment and pleasure all in one place. The exotic cuisine is authentic that’s why I find it to be perfect and excellent. The service is attentive and personal at it’s best. Keep me in mind everytime you want to make a deal in your promotions and marketing. I can use a break such as freebies, discounts, comps., free play, that are worth coming back for as incentive to get me in the house to patronize your business. Make it competitive for there are others that want my business as well but not attractive enough of a proposal for me to splurge and spend my social security and pension in wholeheartedly without regret and restraint. The most important thing is that I paint the town red, go gallivanting, find pleasure and enjoyment in everything I do and not be dissapointed and discouraged or disgusted and annoyed/irritated. Make me happy, is that so much to ask ? As I know for certain that the House always wins.
11blessedbraiderMy sisters and I met in Las Vegas for weekend and stayed at the Strat. We booked 2 rooms. My sister checked in at Kiosk and it was pretty easy. The kiosk wouldn’t take my AZ ID so I went to check in desk. Which was pretty quick I also received free 2 tickets to the Tower Deck. I gave to my other sisters since I’m scared of heights. When we got to our rooms my sister was on 4th floor and her room wasn’t too clean. Makeup on the sheets and towels. My room 5th floor was clean on the other hand. We just didn’t have many towels. Since we both worked housekeeping at Hilton we know how things go. We are at all the restaurants which was amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t see any shows we had other plans on our itinerary this trip. The Strat was very accommodating. The pool was a long walk down the 8th floor hall but the pool social was a vibe. Very clean. Sunny. Service was amazing as well.
