Hotel: Great Fantastic location, great views, great balcony Very good room on 4th floor, good bathroom, overall clean and very pleasant Spa: Great pool Good sauna area Oldish and not updated but functional Restaurant for breakfast: Very good Plenty of choices and quality Restaurant for dinner: Very disappointing Food good Wines, basic Services .. very very disappointing. We were sitting at table at end of resto. We never never had anyone stop buy and ask how things were, if we needed anything, etc. We always, always had to stop someone, almost always someone different to get things, get drinks, etc.etc. To be fair, the responses were good and reasonably prompt, but always having to ask was bad. I am sure we did not have anyone assigned to our table. It was a terrible experience. Organization at resto was extremely bad. Destroyed our experience unfortunately.

The common areas are beautiful, classy; the food is very good, even if we were a group of 40+ people; facilities are nice, extremely well kept, carefully managed. For our work session, it was excellent with basically no comments. On the other hand, the room in the second building was only OK. Very small, bed excessively bland, only one pillow and towel set, no soap for the shower… the view from the room and the balcony are beautiful, but it screams of cutting costs anywhere possible, a little like penny pinching.

Unfortunately during our stay the temperatures were very high and air-condition in the room badly missed. Also the air in the corridors and in the inside restaurant was pretty stale; some fresh paint here and there would be welcome as well. The outside restaurant was very pleasant and no complaints about the food. ‘Swiss’ prices. Portions were more than adequate, though. Because of that we asked for ½ portion of a ‘Wiener schnitzel’(porc) which was not a problem. The price of the schnitzel Swfr 43.- discount for ½ portion turned out to be Swfr. 5.- . We objected against this to no avail.

Arrivée tardive. Clé à la réception avec un petit gentil. Là cuisine du restaurant a bien changé depuis un certain temps et la carte est vraiment bonne maintenant. Merci pour ces changements bénéfiques. À 7h le petit déjeuner est prêt et ça c’est vraiment très bien quand on veut partir de bonne heure. Le seul bémol est le tarif élevé de la chambre depuis la reprise de l’hôtel par le groupe Balance Familie.

Ich bin auch bei meinem dritten Besuch begeistert! 2 Tage die Batterien aufladen in herrlicher Umgebung Das Hotel liegt inmitten der grünen Jurahügel und das geräumige, renovierte Zimmer (mit Kaffeemaschine, Schreibtisch und Sessel mit Tischchen) bietet eine fantastische Aussicht. Wenn wir nicht am Wellnessen waren, genossen wir die Ruhe auf dem aussichtsreichen Balkon oder an einem lauschigen Platz im Grünen in der direkten Umgebung. Im gepflegten Spa (im Preis inklusive) mit Retro-Charme geniesst man die freie Sicht über die Hügel - im Thermalpool genauso wie im Ruheraum, wo Zitruswasser und kleine Snacks zur Erfrischung bereitstehen. Nicht zu übertreffen ist die (separat zu buchende) Sauna am Waldrand. Privates Seelenbaumelnlassen outdoor, inmitten der Natur. Im Restaurant wurden wir mit kreativen, saisonalen, sehr leckeren Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt. Das grösste Kompliment geht aber an das herzliche, hilfsbereite Team, das alles für unser Wohlbefinden tat und auch bei speziellen Anfragen gemeinsam nach einer Lösung suchte. Vielen Dank!

Für uns war es ein Kurzaufenthalt mit 2 Nächten. Wir haben uns für ein bergseitiges Economy - Budget Zweibettzimmer enschieden. Das Zimmer ruhig, sehr geräumig, sauber aber eher etwas renovationsbedürftig. Uns hat das nicht gestört, Preis/Leistung war OK. Erwähnenswert ist auch das gute Restaurant und das hervorragenden Frühstücksbuffet mit einem freundlichem und aufmerksamen Service. Das Hallenbad ist in die Jahre gekommen und hätte eine Auffrischung nötig. In der Summe war für uns ein gelungener Aufenthalt.

Ich war das erste mal in diesem Hotel und trotzdem fühlt man sich so willkommen, als würde man alte Freunde besuchen. Hier fühlt man sich zu Hause, auch wenn man fremd ist. In der Regel hat man aber nicht so viele Freunde, die auch noch so gut kochen können. Hanspeter Zehnder

Wir waren pber den Valentinstag in Bad Ramsach und haben das Romantikpaket inklusive Champagner und fantastischem 3 Gang Menu gebucht. Das Zimmer im Hauptgebäude war toll eingerichtet und sehr schön vorbereitet. Die Lage ist toll, man fühlt sich fast wie in den Bergen. Wir hatten eine tolle Auszeit vom Alltag und können Bad Ramsach nur empfehlen.
