The staff were very friendly and the facilities were very clean and nice. Personally, I had an early morning flight, so I chose a place close to the airport, and it was great that there was a free shuttle bus in the morning.

We walked the Primitivo and this was only our last 8 miles from the Cathedral of Santiago, which we completed after our stay here. Professional and courteous staff, clean and spacious. Amazing dinner on site. Best breakfast of our two weeks in Spain. Excellent hotel.

We stayed here as part of our Camino 2024 Pluses Location, close to Camino to leave a final days walk into Santiago Bottle of water in room always a plus after a days walk Very comfortable bed which gave us a good nights sleep A door which separated the rooms on our floor from the staircase and kept the noise from locals having parties away from the bedrooms. Minuses No tea, coffee facilities in the room

Although big is not always better in a budget hotel, it certainly was in this case. Large hotel, spacious well appointed room, great bathroom with both shower & bath (important whilst walking the Camino). Large dining room, good food and excellent wine. Staff were very helpful and polite especially in the dining area where we were treated like royalty.

We have stayed at this hotel before. On this occasion, our rooms were on the second floor and large enough to live in with separate sitting area and an intriguing space where the mini bar was said to be. We dined in the hotel restaurant and were surprised at the quality and innovation of the food. The smoked salmon with a quince icecream was especially memorable but all was excellent as was the waiting staff. Then we got to breakfast. It felt like we'd entered a different hotel. We had pre booked but there was no table set for us. Every table was piled with dirty plates so I had to ask at reception for a table to be cleared and laid. This was done with bad grace for us and another couple. There were no cornflakes left but when we queried we were told there were no more. Equally, the muffins ran out and the cold meat and cheese platter was almost empty. I was told there was no honey and the waitress seemed anxious to be elsewhere. And this was at 8.30am. Had we wanted a late breakfast I am sure there would be no food whatsoever. Such a shame as we'd enjoyed a delicious breakfast on our previous trip. Maybe we just picked the wrong day?

We stayed here overnight while walking on the camino. There was a mix up with our booking as we were told by our travel agency that this hotel would collect us from a particular location and drop us back the next morning to continue our walk. We couldn't find the designated location and rang hotel for help. I was told to find a landmark and call back which I did. I was told someone would collect us within 10 to 15 minutes. We waited half an hour and called back and told someone was just leaving to collect us. We were happy enough at this point, when we were picked up, our driver told us we must ring our agent as they had no agreement to collect us and he would not be dropping us back the next morning!!! We were tired and were stuck in the middle of a situation we had no control over. His issue was with our agent and had nothing to do with us. I refused to be drawn into an argument as we were all tired. I did ring my agent who apologised and couldn't understand why the hotel had an issue collecting us and dropping us back to our starting point as they did it before. We booked a taxi for next morning which our travel company refunded. Things didn't improve when we reached the hotel the receptionist who worked in restaurant also ,was unfriendly and shouldn't be working in customer service. Her manner was not nice. The food we received was good and the man in charge of breakfast was very friendly and nice. I will be honest we couldn't wait for next morning to come to get out of this hotel, I didnt like the way we were treated and spoken to. No Camino welcome or spirit here!!
