Fabulous restored mill in a small village on the upper Loire River. The hostess Florence runs a superb restaurant and patisserie under the same name steps away from the Gites. Very friendly dogs and cats, rooms are quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Very convenient to hiking, cycling, the larger town Puy En Velay is only 15 minutes away. Beautiful area to visit in this quieter corner of France.

Sadly we only booked 1 night at this beautifully restored water mill. Our bedroom was most attractive , contemporary styling, & functionally very well thought out. The bed was comfortable with top class bed linen. The view out of our window was lovely too - the Loire winding its way through the rural area. And then the real bonus was the brilliant village restaurant run by Florence , (the joint- proprietor with Frederique of the b&b). The team of ladies chefs & waitresses were super efficient & the food was delicious & sophisticated. And finally to say that all of this was really excellent Value for money. But you will need to pre-book as the establishment is understandably very busy. Well worth the diversion on our way from Provence to Eurotunnel at Calais.

Très déçus pour une addition à presque 80 euros pour deux personnes. La qualité des plats s'est bien dégradée depuis notre dernière visite. Nous ne renouvelerons pas l'expérience une troisième fois. Le cadre est pourtant agréable. Il faudra demander au cuisinier de se ressaisir si vous voulez conserver votre clientèle.

Repas en famille dans ce restaurant. Très bon desserts dignes de vrais pâtissiers. Cuisine correcte même si pas exceptionnelle. En revanche le service est deplorable: pain apporté au milieu du plat, cuillère jetée à table, serveuse expéditive et qui ne connait pas les plats servis, 5 assiettes ebréchées sur 7 convives, 10mn pour apporter une sauce mayo. Bref déçu pour un menu à 34euros.

Cadre superbe au bord de la Loire. Magnifique restauration des lieux. Déco superbe. Les chambres sont très confortables, jolie salle de bain. Le menu proposé en table d'hôte est simple. Le prix du repas est supérieur à celui annoncé lors de la réservation, les fromages proposés sont facturés en supplément. Les boissons ne sont pas comprises. Recharge des vélos électriques facturée 1€/vélo ! Une première pour nous... ＞:) !!

Une très belle découverte sur les bords de Loire . Prestation sur chambre d hôte excellente sans fausse note. petit déjeuner fait maison ( pain, viennoiseries, gaufres, confitures,sans compter les yaourts géniaux ). Le restaurant est juste parfait . Les propriétaires sont accueillantes, bienveillantes et aiment leur métier . Bravo pour votre engagement !

Belle surprise ! Une bâtisse superbe ,bien entretenue ,des pièces décorées avec goût ,un petit parc au bord de l eau et des propriétaires aux petits soins,Excellent petit dejeuner,chambres spacieuses tout confort.Planche copieuse le soir au restaurant qui est situé à 50 mètes.Une bonne adresse à recommander ...

Petit repas entre amis - très bel endroit et aménagement en bord de Loire- cuisine très simple avec menu unique sans possibilité de choix ce qui est un peu regrettable compte tenu des possibilités qu'offrent les bons produits locaux régionaux
