Our host, Christine, was wonderful! Very informative in her advice for how we should see the Dordogne region and her breakfasts were a treat! Our morning walks around the local villages and through beautiful fields of wild poppies. The accommodation is first class - highly recommended!

This was our 3rd visit to this magical accommodation in an idyllic region of France. Le Clos Lacaszes is picture perfect with all the comforts you could possible want or need. On each occasion that we have stayed here we come away loving it more! Tranquil and surrounded by rolling countryside it is tastefully decorated in a pretty French style The ever so dear Christine provides a delicious continental style breakfast each morning which includes many of her home baked cakes and yummy preserves. She is only to willing to suggest local attractions and is very knowledgeable when it comes to the history and culture of the surrounding area. She is honestly the most perfect host and now feel more like a friend! Le Clos Lacaszes is spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Ideally situated for many towns and villages which are on the doorstep. A perfect base to discover all that the wonderful Dordogne has to offer!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Le Clos Lascazes. My boyfriend and I spend one week in gite bambouseraie with our 11-month-old baby. It was charming, clean and very comfortable. We especially liked the private terrace, the pool and the well maintained garden. We already knew the area but thanks to our lovely host Christine we discovered a couple of great new restaurants/hotspots. We had an amazing family vacation and would love to come back next year!

We had an excellent stay in the "Campagne" guest room. The room was charmingly decorated and was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The reading corner with two armchairs is a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and the courtesy tray provided is a welcome touch. The small private terrace has a lovely view of the pool and beautiful grounds. Christine was a very welcoming and kind host. She gave us lots of ideas for trips and sights around the area which was very helpful, and that enabled us to make the most of our time in the area. Would have no hesitation to return to this lovely spot. Highly recommended!

Every morning we started off with a delicious breakfast with homemade jam and cake! The B&B is so peacefull and quiet. You are surrouned with beautifull nature. You can hear the birds all day long with the smell of fresh lavender. now and again you can spot an eagle or see swallows bathing in the pool! We were here for a longer period, so enjoyed some days in peace and quiet at the pool baking in the hot sun. Near the B&B there are many beautiful villages with a lot of local markets, massive castles, caves,... If you want to eat out, there are many restaurants nearby that are cheap and serve delicious food. The room was very beautiful and clean! There were some welcome drinks in the fridge for us. Every morning your room get cleaned. Christine is fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. She will help you when you're in need of something. When you arrive she gives you a map where beautifull places, restaurants, caves,... Pinpointed in the region. We had a fantastic stay here! We are definetly coming back!

Le Close Lascazes was perfect! Our room was fresh, clean and comfortable with French windows opening onto our own little terrace where we could sit and watch the amazing sunsets. The gardens and pool were delightful, but the best thing about our stay was Christine who made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she spent time to talk and recommend places of interest in the locality. Every morning she greeted us with a smile as she served the amazing breakfast. Her homemade cakes and jams were perfection. Don't hesitate, book to stay here now! It is wonderful!!

This was our 3rd visit with Christine and it was so lovely to be back. As always we had a top notch stay in her wonderful gites and she spoiled us rotten with her lovely breakfasts! We are already considering making a return to Dordogne and we will stay nowhere else but with Christine...why would we consider anything else when we have perfection right here!? We have just spent 5 nights at this delightful guest house. Christine, the owner was so helpful and friendly; recommending and booking restaurants for dinner. Her breakfasts are delicious. I have to mention the freshly baked daily cake. The property is beautiful. In the countryside but only 5-10 mins drive to local amenities Our room was very comfortable, decorated in typical French country chic style, with a beautiful view of the garden and pool.

We always love staying here and were so pleased to be back after almost 3 years! Lovely quiet, clean, comfortable rooms and Christine is the perfect host - nothing is too much trouble and we always feel so welcome. Breakfasts are plentiful and delicious and we always look forward to Christine’s homemade cake. We love exploring the Dordogne and so we will certainly be planning to return, hopefully for a little longer next time.
