I would not class this hotel as a four star establishment; I would say 3 star at the very most. The lovely foyeur and reception area are deceiving. Reception staff are excellent: very friendly and efficient and the room was clean and pleasant enough. However, I am relieved that we weren't staying in one of the basement rooms, which look dark and depressing. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our first evening, which was expensive, but very average. The table service was slow and below par. There is no bar area to enjoy a drink. Breakfast was a shambles; disinterested and unfriendly staff; no warm welcome. No tables laid for guests in the morning; we had to ask staff for serviettes and cutlery etc. Coffee was terrible. We weren't informed that cooked eggs were available and only realised they were when we saw another guest eating fried eggs! There is no longer a beach attached to the hotel, due to storm Beryl, but most of the view of the seafront was blocked by a series of bungalows built at the back of the hotel. For a cost of around 200 euro per room per night I would expect a much higher standard. Disappointing.

We had a warm welcome by the young lady in the reception, but was assigned a room in the basement where we had to go through the laundry machines and a lot of stuff in the hallway. The room was placed so that everyone that walked by could see in and we did not feel safe to leave things in our fridge outside since anyone could walk in. There were bugs and mosquitoes in the room and the water in the shower flooded the bathroom. We asked if it was possible to get another room, but this was not possible on the first night. The next afternoon we got to switch to a room on the first floor that was facing the pool. This room was much better, but yet the kitchen sink was blocked so the water could not go out. There was a huge difference in the service mindset between the two woman manning the reception. The hotel is located next to the ocean, but unfortunately the hotel villas block the view from both the pool and the restaurant. Also the fence facing the ocean has collapsed and looks quite rough. In conclusion this hotel does not feel like a four star establishment and has seen better days.

Charming and relaxing small hotel: we spent ten days at the Diamant les Bains are enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Friendly and supportive staff (it helps to speak some French). Wonderfully maintained gardens and pool (we swim laps and the pool was not one of those small ornamental things). Superb continental breakfast -- fresh fruits and lovely French baking -- served on the patio. Hotel is walking distance to nearby restaurants and is across the street from a boulangerie (need I say more?) Beach on Diamant bay is not Copacabana -- volcanic sand, narrow margin and often rough seas, therefore not terribly good for swimming, but great for contemplative walks and grand vistas of the towering Morne. There is nothing glitzy about this hotel just constant friendly service and a therapeutic atmosphere.

The hotel is well located in the Diamant. Nice welcome, clean room that smells good. Everything works very well in the room, safe, air conditioning, hot water, comfortable bed. Small kitchenette on the balcony, we used it 4 times during our stay. The majority of staff are friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is well maintained. The hotel is on the seafront, but there is no beach, you disembark at the bottom of the steps directly into the water. I recommend this hotel.

We arrived on October 1, 2023 Outstanding Service upon our arrival Claudine received us with a super warm welcome. Good size room with incredible view of the diamond. We had room 311 WoW what a magical view of the diamond! Comfortable terrace with table and 4 chairs, small kitchen with everything you need to make good scampi pasta! The service is also impeccable for breakfast and evening dinner. We eat well you can order the eggs of your choice. In the evening we tasted Marlin, shrimp and Beef, all the dishes were tasty. Continue your excellent service, well done to the whole team! The only downside, the sea was not calm at this place so I only swam there once but it allowed us to appreciate other beaches on the Islands and to visit a little. We enjoyed coming home in the evening because it was very comfortable and warm!

Mixed opinions ranging from very good for the cuisine, whether it be the La Terrasse restaurant or the lunchtime snack, to more than average for the reception. It all depended on the services. We were greeted with the greatest coldness the first evening at the restaurant by the obsequious room manager but very well the next day by the other team. Then we were shocked by the intrusive side of the breakfast lady who made inappropriate comments about me...to the point of discomfort for my part. Not possible to have lunch at the snack bar on Saturday because there is a group. Finally wait until 12:30 p.m. and see a waitress pass by with two drinks for the deckchairs next door at 12:10 p.m.... Unsettling experience until the end but we ate well... very good in fact And nothing to complain about the room even if the wifi is lousy.

Un lieu mais alors à fuire, les douches pour avoir de l’eau il faut attendre que les gouttes d’eaux tombent pour se laver, le restaurant enfin l’endroit où soit disant nous devons prendre un repas est une catastrophe. Four en panne, le matin même un formule 1 est plus diversifié. Et alors l’amabilité du personnels est une catastrophe. Lieu donc à fuire. Surtout si vous avez des enfants ne pas venir ici
