Camping de l'Espiguette

We were a large group and took 11 bungalows. We booked months in advance but the communication was horrible. No response to emails and when there were it was like we had to start all over again. They were clueless. I even contacted on Facebook and each time was told to call. BUT they weren't even open yet. So firstly communication was awful. We were asked to be situated as close as possible. About 4 of us were and the others scattered all over. The bungalows are a bit outdated. But worse are that at 8pm while sitting on our deck the first night we were asked by another bungalow to not chat because her baby was sleeping. Then following day we had a man on the opposite bungalow run out to tell our kids not to walk by his bungalow. So I could only imagine the nightmare in the middle of august when all these campers want quiet at 8pm. It is far too big and bungalows are very close. My advice to the campers is, don't go to a camping if you expect there to be no noise. You can hear everything through the bungalows and that is normal. There are plenty of amenities on the camping which is nice. You have beach access but it is a good 15 min walk in the sand to actually get to the water. Pool was closed when we were there but was supposed to have been open. The woman at check in was very pleasant and very kind, super smiley which was very nice.

Good for families; in the Camping area Not too loud and crowdy. Take a bike with you due to the distances. Very big Camping site. Not all wash houses are equally clean. Do not shower between 19 and 19.30. moskitos!
