Disappointing visit this time Breakfast which was included was terrible brown fruit salad cold Burt toast and yoghurt that did not require refrigeration … We had to insist on bedding for 2 despite being charged for a 2 person bungalow as non fluent French speakers we also were treated carelessly despite being able to understand perfectly what staff were saying

Kanua Tera is located on a beautiful bay at the south end of Le Grand Sud. We stayed two nights, getting there after a day in the Parc de Rivere Bleu. We were in bungalow 11 which was right on the bay and could listen to the waves lap. The bungalows are basic but clean and pleasant. On our day there we walked along the track to Port Boise which was a lovely walk along the coast with some river crossings and places to swim. The meals were tasty and the staff friendly and helpful. We drove in and out in different ways and definitely recommend the road south from Yaté. Try to avoid the road past the mine particularly as the workers are going home around 4.30pm and there is lots of traffic on the pot holed road

The setting is beautiful but what a pity this lack of maintenance. The bungalows are completely to be renovated, some of them are on the verge of insalubrity. The blinds are moldy, the walls dirty, water infiltration and therefore the ceiling of the bathroom also moldy, the water ran down the walls with the leak, the sheets were stained... For the price this is not is not acceptable. We were very disappointed.
