Druids Glen Resort

Absolutely amazing, the staff couldn't do enough, they went above and beyond, recommend. The weather was bad, so chilled for the rest of the day. The next day was cold and fresh, but some lovely walks around the grounds.. great location......

Enjoyed a 3 day stay mid summer. Checkin was quick friendly and Katie on reception was so helpful with evey little query. The foyer is beautiful so comfortable classic large stone fireplace and beautiful furniture. The room was perfect and spotlessly clean. Stunning large bathroom with l'occitane toiletries in plentiful supply. We had a Juliet balcony it was great in the evenings to have the fresh air and views over the golf course. Used the SPA for treatments pure joy reasonable priced and the therapeutic range very satisfactory. The Therapist was lovely and very knowledgeable and professional. We had good in the bar one night it’s very busy so make a reservation especially for a crowd. Food good but portions on the fish on the small size for the price. Amazing walk around the outskirts of the golf course and we walked from the hotel to the club house where the staff were really welcoming and even offered us a lift back to the hotel. The views are stunning. Breakfast was excellent great choice hot buffet but I had omelettes or eggs Benedict to order instead which was no problem and arrived quickly. Great selection of herbal teas and juices. Staff at breakfast were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much to ask for. Beautiful place for a few days I’m really looking forward to a return trip ideal spot for a winter break as there is loads to do on site.

Lovely location excellent service disappointed Hugo’s restaurant was closed and we were not advised before checkin.

We stayed at Druid’s Glen last weekend to celebrate a special occasion and absolutely loved it. I spoke to Ash on the phone before booking and she was so incredibly helpful and could not do enough for me to make the upcoming stay special. She is amazing and made me so excited for our stay. When we arrived we met Oli and found him to be an absolute gent. He was so professional and polite and helped us with any request or query that we had. The room was beautiful and we spent our days in the sauna and plunge pool! The food in Hugo’s was delicious - we had scallops for starter, sea bream for main course and chocolate fondant for dessert which was absolutely gorgeous and airy and surprisingly light! The staff made our stay complete - particularly Ash and Oli. I’ve never had such lovely customer service in any other hotel.

My mother recently had a milestone birthday and to celebrate the entire family went to Druids Glen Hotel for dinner and some of us stayed over. From the moment we booked the staff were so helpful. When we checked into our beautiful room and went for a swim and sauna before the meal. A pre dinner drink in the bar was a nice way to start. Then into the balcony area for the 20 odd sitting. The food was all delicious and service was great. In the morning there was a great selection for breakfast. We found it hard to get our 4 year old to leave the playroom because he was having so much fun. I can't recommend Druids Glen highly enough. The staff were all so nice and certainly made mam feel special. It was a perfect way to celebrate my mam's birthday in style. She was delighted!

The hotel was lovely, I went with 3 of my friends and we had a fantastic evening. We stayed in a double room which was gorgeous, so spacious and clean. We booked the spa & lunch deal with an overnight stay. The girls in the spa were incredibly nice, I enjoyed my massage thoroughly. During the stay we were looked after by Remy, who is a credit to the hotel and absolutely fantastic at his job, the service he provided was exceptional. We will return very soon.
