Absolutely amazing, the staff couldn't do enough, they went above and beyond, recommend. The weather was bad, so chilled for the rest of the day. The next day was cold and fresh, but some lovely walks around the grounds.. great location......

Enjoyed a 3 day stay mid summer. Checkin was quick friendly and Katie on reception was so helpful with evey little query. The foyer is beautiful so comfortable classic large stone fireplace and beautiful furniture. The room was perfect and spotlessly clean. Stunning large bathroom with l'occitane toiletries in plentiful supply. We had a Juliet balcony it was great in the evenings to have the fresh air and views over the golf course. Used the SPA for treatments pure joy reasonable priced and the therapeutic range very satisfactory. The Therapist was lovely and very knowledgeable and professional. We had good in the bar one night it’s very busy so make a reservation especially for a crowd. Food good but portions on the fish on the small size for the price. Amazing walk around the outskirts of the golf course and we walked from the hotel to the club house where the staff were really welcoming and even offered us a lift back to the hotel. The views are stunning. Breakfast was excellent great choice hot buffet but I had omelettes or eggs Benedict to order instead which was no problem and arrived quickly. Great selection of herbal teas and juices. Staff at breakfast were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much to ask for. Beautiful place for a few days I’m really looking forward to a return trip ideal spot for a winter break as there is loads to do on site.

This review pertains solely to the breakfast service. I have previously dined at this hotel for lunch, which was a pleasant experience and the hotel itself appears charming However, I want to be clear that my comments here refer only to the breakfast service While the food was good and the waitstaff were attentive and courteous, our experience was entirely overshadowed by the conduct of the breakfast shift manager or supervisor- whose name was Tony (or possibly Tommy). His behavior was shockingly unprofessional and deeply disrespectful toward his team. Throughout the breakfast service, he was audibly barking orders and reprimanding staff in front of guests, creating a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere. It was extremely disheartening to witness such treatment, especially considering how hard the waitresses were working to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone. I am genuinely surprised that a hotel of this calibre would employ someone who displays such a lack of professionalism, training, and basic respect. Equally concerning is the apparent lack of accountability--how his superior allows such conduct to continue unchecked is beyond me, As a frequent traveler, I have rarely encountered anything so disturbing in a hospitality setting. My business associates, who are currently staying at the hotel, asked if I would consider staying here in future. Based on today's experience (Thursday), I will not be returning. I cannot in good conscience support a hotel that tolerates workplace bullying. I sincerely hope this feedback reaches someone in management who values the well-being of both guests and employees. This kind of behavior has no place in any professional setting-let alone one that aspires to high standards. Appalling!!

Very good experience, we were greeted by staff and our bags taken to our room. Food was nice and served by a lovely waiter.

I can only echo everything others have said. The Easter weekend in April 2025. Absolute chaos. Not a five star experience. The staff were all lovely and the property is lovely but it was, as another reviewer said, like centreparcs and not a 5 star resort. No one wants to be having an after dinner drink in the bar area where food is still being served at 10pm, kids are running wild and the lights on full blast. Cold breakfast buffet style no table service and having to go to other tables for your own condiments. Messy tables while eating is not pleasant. Pool mad with people allowing their kids in the jacuzzi and steam and Sauna rooms. I heard one adult tell his son “don’t mind the signs I’m allowing you in” so not enough that they took over the pool. All in all a disappointing experience and we won’t be back. If you want to be a family resort then fine, say that, don’t sell yourself as a five star retreat, as you are not that.

As someone who has stayed in the hotel many times over the years ,unfortunately this trip failed to impress. Our room was booked over the phone. The booking agent failed to mention that I would have to pay a fee of € 150 additional to the cost of the room upon arrival (this would be refunded at the end of our stay) in case of any damage to our room. I queried this on check in when I was informed of the fee as €150 is a lot of money to fork out on top of the cost of our stay and the receptionist , very firmly just stated it ‘is hotel policy’. This policy only started one week ago. In that case, shouldn’t the staff be advising people of this prior to arrival!!! The breakfast in Druids used to be fab. This morning it was below average. The fab choices the hotel used to offer has clearly been cut back on unfortunately and it certainly wasn’t a 5 star breakfast. We were considering this as a wedding venue. Not so sure now.

The hotel is beautifully situated in the luxurious Druids Glen Golf Course. Amazing manicured greens and course. Stunning scenery. However the Hotel is not 5 stars by any means. Caters mainly for couples with young families. It’s quite noisy in the hotel reception with children playing. We were on the second floor and there were a couple of families playing ball in the hotel corridors. Swimming pool is incredibly busy and noisy at the designated times for children. Had to queue up for breakfast, and tables for 4 were a priority over tables for 2, which I thought was incredibly unfavourable. The rooms are spacious and nice. The high price of the cost of room per night, I would not stay here again. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel needs more organisation especially at breakfast and dinner sittings.

We had a lovely experience at Druids Glen, staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. The rooms are brilliant, we are a family of 4 and fitted comfortably in one family guest room. The hotel is kept exceptionally well, the pool area, restaurants, bars are all lovely and clean at all times. Brilliant stay and will go back again.
