The location is very good. Lecce is a great place to use as a base for a few days in Puglia and Salento regions. The apartment we had was very spacious and quiet. The staff is very helpful and there is a possibility (for 20 euros) to park the car in a nearby (500 meters) garage. The only negatives were the bed was very hard and low and the room had zero charm. This is why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars!

On the beautiful central Piazza Sant'Oronzo, big rooms, welcoming and gentle host, who helped to bring our car when we needed it, and gave us all the information. Breakfasts were served in the room and were good, except for coffee.

Mr. and I were very fortunate to have found lodgings at Casa Dei Mercanti in mid May 2022, right ON the Piazza Sant’Oronzo. Franzi and Sveva were very communicative, helpful, and easy to work with. Franzi sent messages through *********** initially. As our arrival date got closer we communicated through WhatsApp texts. It was great! He gave us very a detailed explanation with pictures for our arrival. He met us and drove with us in our car to meet Sveva who took us to our rooms. Franzi then took our car to a parking place for 15 Euros/day. Franzi and Sveva have resolved the issues related to driving and parking in the city center. They are friendly, easy to talk to and speak very good English. Sveva had a tourist map for us , briefed us on the high points and shared some favorite restaurant recommendations. Upon checkout Franzi brought the car at the exact time we requested. We checked out with Sveva and went to meet Franzi, smooth as silk. Our rooms were generously sized living/kitchen area, bath and bedroom. It was very comfortable. Our view was pleasant enough, other buildings, some with flowers blooming in pots on their balconies or rooftops. Breakfast was delivered to our door at the requested time each morning including breads, meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, fruit and coffee. We felt Franzi and Sveva did everything they could to make us comfortable and feel welcome.

Apartamento ubicado en el centro de Lecce, con un anfitrión que se desvive porque tu estancia sea como en casa. Atento a responder todas tus necesidades y dándote consejos sobre restaurantes, visitas etc. un 10. El apartamento es amplio, cómodo, acogedor, el desayuno te llega a la hora que lo solicitas y muy bueno también. Si vas en coche, el anfitrión se preocupa de recogértelo en un punto de encuentro a 150m del apartamento y a devolvértelo cada vez que lo necesites. Recomiendo encarecidamente este apartamento.

Locazion molto raffinata nella centrale piazza Sant'Oronzo.Le stanze sono ampie e arredate con con oggetti di design. La disponibilita' e la gentilezza del Sig. Franzi e di Sveva sono stati ineccepibili. Da consigliare.
