Very satisfied with my stay in the Balconi residence. The room is very large with a beautiful view of the streets of Lecce. It was very quiet, and I spent a pleasant evening, I recommend

The structure is beautiful and its location is strategic, a stone's throw from Piazza Sant'Oronzo. We stayed in the suite with the hot tub. The spaces are large, except for the bathroom which was still functional, considering that next to the bed there is a hot tub. The host pampered us by making us find strawberry-flavored water, chocolates and some drinks in the fridge. The bed and pillows (of different sizes depending on the needs) were truly restorative!! If I can give some advice, pay special attention to the cleanliness, especially of the tub, and to the breakfast buffet (quite basic). The host is very kind and available for any request and for this I thank him from the bottom of my heart. We will definitely be back.

Terrible experience. We booked a room for 30 and 31 2024. When we arrived we took the keys with the pin they had provided us, from the box at the entrance of the door. We walked up 2 floors with our suitcases, to our surprise once inside we were greeted by a living room with walls full of leaks and black mold. We entered the bedroom which was also compromised by black mold badly cleaned somewhere, in other places it was full of black stains, moving the bed, wardrobe and furniture black stains everywhere. (let's leave aside the very dirty dust an infinite number of flies in the bathroom) at this point we contacted the host to inform him that the room was unusable and dangerous to health, he told us he would refund us. To our surprise they declared that we had not shown up EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS EVIDENCE OF PHOTOS VIDEO PHONE CALLS. On January 6th we tried to contact the facility again, we received the response that it would block our phone and ended the call. Unprofessional behavior to date we have not had a refund. I invite the person who deals with it, instead of blocking and deleting the reviews to provide a civil service since you are paid to offer accommodation and not a hovel. I am waiting for the refund.

Booked on a portal where the photos seemed to describe a nice little place, clean and well-kept. When we arrived, as we went up the building and got closer to our room, the good hopes slowly diminished. When we got to the room, the nightmare began. Dirty doors that had never been cleaned, fingerprints and other things clearly visible, especially in the bathroom. Dirty bathroom floor, shower tray with hair and aerator (the bathroom was blind) without a cover and from where all the accumulated dust was visible. Iron beds worse than the hospital, hair on the sheets and mended sheets. This is just the beginning. From 11pm you start to hear screams and kids shouting all night until late at night down in the street. But it is not a simple confusion that you can expect. Since the frames are very old, the glass is very thin, it seems like having those people in the room. We could not sleep, our son was scared and could not sleep. Firecrackers in the street and after 4:00 when it was almost silent, a fight broke out that lasted for at least 30 minutes. Screams and swearing. A nightmare night. A place like this shouldn't even be open. And in any case it is defined as a "sustainable" place, yes, everything except the bill! Not to mention the common room that is on the opposite landing, so to have breakfast you have to go out into the cold and go to the other apartment. Crazy! I do not recommend it especially for families and people who love hygiene. We booked elsewhere and the next morning we ran away losing 50% of the total but it was not livable for a moment longer.

Very negative review. Upon arrival, after following all the instructions to enter, the door would not open and we were only able to enter thanks to two gentlemen who were staying there and had the key. After various adventures to find the room, we had to spend a nightmare night because of the unbearable heat because the air conditioner remained on for two minutes and then the circuit breaker tripped. I had to go at least ten times to turn it on with the risk of dying because the children were uncovered and sparking. No response to messages, only on WhatsApp, we spent the night without electricity and without air. Among other things, at night I had to get up to open the door for a lady who was locked out again due to problems with the door. I could always hear the coming and going of people going to reactivate the electricity meter. Breakfast was some biscuits and jam, rotten fruit, no drinks, no cutlery and no one at reception. Superficial cleaning. Not recommended

This establishment is to be avoided at all costs. We went through a local travel agency who booked us 3 nights there. Nearby there are extremely noisy bars and all night long drunk people scream and fight. To make matters worse an adjoining building is under construction and they start at 6:30 am ... So you sleep between 2 and 3 hours per night The management makes no effort and refers you to their incompetence The final touch is the breakfast consisting of a coffee, a small cake and a rusk TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS
