"Was a nice hotel, good value considering it was actually quite a posh place, bed was nice and comfy and the place was mostly quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was ideal for me because I was running Mactuff Really Muddy West Yorkshire in the morning which was located across the road at Parkwood Outdoors"
"Due to an emergency I needed a short stay reasonably priced hotel accommodation urgently. There was a football game in town. I checked many hotels which were booked for the Saturday. I came across Discovery Inn which was ideal for me as it was also very close to the train station and Leeds City Centre.
Stay was comfortable, I didn't expect the room to be so large. Service and staff were excellent.
Due to my busy schedule I didn't try the food.
Definitely will return in the future."
"Good value for money, convenient transportation, friendly service staff. There are many restaurants around, as well as saintsbury's supermarket. Soundproofing is average."
"Nic, clean and comfortable hotel. Ideally situated on the M1 but without the traffic noise. Restaurant a bit limited but there’s more eating places in the services. Bar is a bit pricey, but the staff are fantastic and a credit to the company"
"Hotel was a great location to the station. Room service took over an hour for just some chips and onion rings. The tv only had terrestrial tv as none of the casting options worked. Disappointing considering it’s 2025. The hotel had a strange smell at the entrance on arrival which was off putting."
"I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, my experience was quite mixed.
The location itself is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. However, there are several issues that affected my stay.
First, the air conditioning in the room was not cold enough, even when set to the lowest temperature. This made it difficult to sleep comfortably, especially during warm weather.
Second, the WiFi provided was an unsecured public network, which did not feel safe for handling any personal or sensitive information online.
While the room was reasonably clean, the bathroom had a persistent mouldy smell that did not go away throughout my stay.
Another inconvenience is that the parking area is not located directly at the hotel, which can be quite awkward if you have luggage or need to access your car frequently.
Overall, I would not recommend staying here for more than one night. There are better options available in the same area."
"The price is absolutely cheap, you can drive to York Ole's park &ride for half an hour to transfer to the city bus. The room is not small, very clean, parking is free, there is a restaurant at the door, all holiday inn for breakfast are the same. There is no elevator, you need to carry your luggage upstairs."
"Look at the historical building in the canal building and the book is located in the busy street of university students.
But the location is a bit inconvenient. I heard that there are many buses passing by when you go straight out of the gate.
But if a person is carrying a heavy weight, it will be awkward. Fortunately, I can’t hold it because I don’t have a lift.
It looks so beautiful. The night we arrived, it was super foggy and it seemed that Harry Potter was in the scene.
I thought it would be good internally, but I found out that it is actually a good company.
The environment is so peaceful and comfortable. The staff are not many but friendly.
It feels like living in a dorm, so youthful"
"Stayed at the Ibis Hotel during my trip to Leeds and it was exactly what I needed for a short stay. Nothing fancy, but decent, clean, and tidy throughout. The room was comfortable and well-kept, offering good value for a budget hotel. It's about a 15-minute walk from Leeds train station, which was convenient. Overall, a solid and reliable choice if you're looking for a straightforward, affordable place to stay"

GGuest UserExcellent hotel and really good to get to the centre .
From checking in early to checking out, everything was superb ! The staff af reception were among the friendliest we have come across.
The room was very clean and a really comfy bed made for an excellent night's sleep.
Breakfast was amazing, and as soon as anything ran out, it was replenished straight away. Choices were really good and excellent quality too
Definitely recommend this hotel, and we'll definitely be back.

MMarc Peacock-SmithWe upgraded to a king size bed suite. It wasn’t a king size bed , instead two beds pushed together which was annoying. Toe bed frames squeaked so much everytime you moved you woke up. The coffee machine leaked when you put water in it. Overall quite disappointing

GGuest UserMy wife requires gluten free food ( which most frequently means no wheat products) and lactose free milk. She has reacted to soya milk in the past and generally opts for oat milk.
At breakfast in the hotel everything was clearly labelled if it contained wheat, but there were few alternatives provided and no alternative to the croissants and muffins. One waitress was very helpful and offered to see if there was any oat milk in the bar. Good idea - we knew there was because my wife had it in her coffee the previous evening. The waitress went and soon returned with a carton of oat milk. She apologized for the carton but we didn’t mind, we were pleased that my wife could enjoy her cereal.
However before she could use it another waiter (the Barman?) came along and demanded its return. My wife offered to return it after her breakfast but, no, it was needed immediately in case there were other customers who wanted it. The problem was solved by my wife pouring some into a cup and giving him the carton. Not the sort of situation we expect from a decent hotel. We were pleased at the imitative of the waitress, and thanked her for it. We were appalled at the crass behavior of the man who demanded its return. All in all it was a very poor breakfast.

GGuest UserIt is a very beautiful hotel with lots of history. I stayed on the 7th floor and had a view across the square. There was a problem during my stay but the front of House Manager Dean who is not only funny, friendly and brilliant sorted it swiftly and efficiently for me. I will definately be staying again.

DDaviedaiVery cost-effective, good location, very close to Leeds station. Parking is inconvenient, the hotel parking spaces are limited and cost more than 20 pounds, there are almost no parking spaces nearby, and the price is similar. But the room is relatively large, the bedding is very comfortable, the hygiene is very clean, and the free water brand is also good.

HHeart LionThe Met Hotel offers the most convenient location in Leeds, just a 4-minute walk from the train station. Additionally, the warm hospitality I received made my stay truly unforgettable. The hotel’s interior is beautifully decorated in Victorian style, adding to its charm.

PPW-JGreat ease of check in with lovely staff,
Really comfortable night sleep and temperature, equipped and clean hotel for solo traveller and helped me store my bags all day :) great price for the quality would definitely stay again!
GGuest UserIt was 4 degrees outside and the windows were left open.
The heating system was on max and I could barely feel it, there was also a plug in heater in the room so the hotel obviously know it’s cold in there, but even the portable heater didn’t give out much warmth
Room is dated but I expected that for the price, I just didn’t anticipate the lack of adequate heating
BBananaboatsterStayed one night at EasyHotel Leeds – overall, it was okay. The best thing about it is definitely the location. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Leeds Station, and right in the city center, just across from Flat Iron Leeds (perfect if you’re craving steak), with a Costa Coffee next door for your caffeine fix.
The room I got didn’t have any windows and seemed to be one of their accessible rooms – spacious bathroom with handrails and a shower seat. Not a problem at all, just something to note. The room itself was clean and basic, totally fine for a short stay. Wi-Fi was decent for general use.
They’ve got vending machines on the ground floor and a 24-hour front desk. Free baggage storage is available before check-in, which was really convenient. After check-out they said there might be a charge, but I only needed it for about an hour and wasn’t charged anything.
Nothing fancy, but if you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot in a central location, it does the trick.

Aangela shanghaiNice hotel, cost-effective, small and clean, the shower room is quite big, but the sound insulation is not very good. After staying for a few days, I had to take taxis both in the morning and in the evening. There seemed to be a school opposite and there was a large green space.
Some top places to stay in Leeds are near popular attractions like University of Leeds and Civic Hall—so you can quickly get to top landmarks and amenities you need.
