Hotel George looks much better in person than in the photos. Everything is extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts are extremely accommodating and friendly. They shared with us some local tips that were very helpful. Highly recommended. We'll be back for sure! 😀

Our first stay at this beautiful homely hotel. Location is perfect if you need a silence. Rooms are all clean and comfortable, the pool area is perfect, a great size and plenty of sunbeds for all. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.🙂 Breakfast is really tasty with lots of choice. We were very satisfied with everything, so we will definitely be back again.🙂

George Hotel Excellent Stay My wife and I stayed at this fantastic hotel for two weeks from the 15th of May 2025. The hotel is a well-managed establishment that provides excellent value for money. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Martina, who promptly and efficiently checked us in and escorted us to our room on the top floor. Martina also graciously assisted us in carrying our suitcases to our room. Our room was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean, creating a delightful atmosphere as if it had just received a fresh coat of paint and a makeover. There were plenty of towels, a kettle, and a new hairdryer, in addition to a fridge and a safe. The large balcony was furnished with a table and chairs. The room also had plenty of wall sockets conveniently placed. It was bright and airy as well. Unlike most hotels I've stayed in throughout Greece, which often favour the 2-watt light bulb experience, our room was completely different, featuring five ceiling lights, bedside lamps, and a mood light above the bed. Breakfast was excellent, featuring eggs, pastries, and various other items that seemed to change daily. Personally, I couldn't find any fault with it; to me, it was perfect. Breakfast was expertly managed by the lovely and approachable owner, Maria, who was always present to ensure that every item was replenished and arranged to perfection. In the breakfast area, we were also very well cared for by Caroline, who was a wealth of knowledge and always present to attend to everyone. Behind the bar was the lovely Joanna, who always had a kind word and a smile, as well as an excellent command of English. This was our third trip to Nidri, but my first and definitely not the last visit to the George hotel. Thank you all for making it a memorable holiday. This is a delightful relaxed family run hotel. I arrived late from a delayed flight around midnight. I was met with a smile and soon had a delicious snack and large glass of red in my hand. These little things make a big difference. It provides an excellent base for exploring this lovely part of Greece.
