Although the hotel is on a very deserted street, it is very close to the city's most famous Gewandhaus Concert Hall. Across the square in front of the concert hall is the old town. The walking range is not large, so it is not a bad place. convenient. This is a very small hotel and does not have a 24-hour front desk, so I have to get the key to open the side door when I come back at night. I did not encounter the door being closed, so this is not a major problem. The breakfast in the hotel was good, but I paid an extra 15 euros per person. I ate for two days and I didn’t find any hot food. In fact, there was some hot food, but I didn’t see it. The hotel room is quite large, with two windows, and outside the window is the hotel's small garden. Hotelzimmer war geräumig, schön schlicht und modern eingerichtet und sauber. Bett weich mit Topper, nur das Spannbettlaken nicht für die Größe passend (Matratze hat sich gewellt). Bad und Dusche sauber, Fön vorhanden und Duschgel. Toilettenpapierhalter hat gefehlt. Wasserschaden im Bad neben Dusche, was wir an Rezeption gemeldet haben.
Hotel gut zentral gelegen, zu Fuß die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen. Parkplatz keiner direkt vor Hotel. Kiesplatz für 10 € pro Tag um die Ecke buchbar. Besser noch der Parkplatz vom Edeka (in der Nähe) für 6 € pro Tag.
Personal freundlich, aber nicht überbemüht. Als wir ankamen, mussten wir erstmal auf eine Dame warten, bis wir einchecken konnten, weil Rezeption nicht besetzt war. Auf die Frage, ob es Parkplätze zum Aufladen des E-Autos gäbe, war die Antwort nur:"Keine Ahnung...haben wir bisher nicht gebraucht..." Mithilfe von google konnten wir dann aber gleich in der Nähe 2 Plätze finden.
Das Gebäude selbst 160 Jahre alt, schöner Backsteinbau mit tollem Innenhof (im Sommer bestimmt sehr schön zum Sitzen dort) und renoviert. Das Frühstück war sehr gut: viel Auswahl, reichlich zum Nachnehmen, leckere Kaffeemaschine, verschiedenste Säfte und man konnte individuell z.b. nach einem gekochten Ei fragen. Alles in allem gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für 2 Nächte und Stadtbesichtigung auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

This place is really well located, less than 1 km from center of Leipzig and we appreciated this. Room was spacious and clean, but we missed that bath and restroom was on the hall way. First rest room did not work proper but there were 2 on each floor so we could use the other. Still we slept quite bad as there were some noise every time somebody went to the bath room during the night. We are probably too old for a place like this but if you do. It mind and is looking for at cheap place to it is ok.

Stayed here for one night on my way to Prague with my parents and my sister, you can walk from hauptbahnhof through the city center and be there in 15-20 minutes. The attention was excellent, the staff were nice. The apartment was really big to our surprise, with a fully renovated kitchen and bathroom, and nice bedrooms. For the price I don’t think it can get any better and it’s the perfect place to stay in Leipzig. Would 100% recommend and will stay there if I come to Leipzig again!

We went out to dinner with friends. We wanted to drink cocktails and eat something. The cocktails were only partially available because there were no limes or mint. The food came quickly and tasted good, from that point on we didn't see any more employees. After several attempts we got the waiter's attention and tried to order something else to drink. We were "allowed" to order beer or bottles of wine (10:15 p.m.) The coffee machine had already been turned off, we weren't allowed to order any more cocktails... When we ordered something else, the waiter said: "That's all then, I'm fed up today and will bring the bill." He made a mistake on the bill that was against us, but then said that it would be fine. I didn't like it and that's not how to treat guests.

Wir hatten eine Ferienwohnung im 4. Stock des Gebäudes mit Blick auf den Innenhof. Unsere Sorge wg. Lärm von der Restauration unten erwies sich als gegenstandslos. Um 22 Uhr wurde es - wie eigentlich zugesichert - zwar nicht komplett ruhig, aber alle Gäste dort waren erstaunlich zivilisiert, sodass es keine Belästigung gab. Die Wohnung war geräumig und hell und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Allerdings sind uns drei Dinge negativ aufgefallen: - Im kleinen Schlafzimmer gab es nur auf einer Seite des Betts eine Nachttischlampe, deren Leuchtmittel so sparsam ausgelegt war, dass Lesen völlig unmöglich war (Funzel!) - Mehrere Betten knarrten so intensiv, dass der Nachtschlaf bei jedem Umdrehen nachhaltig unterbrochen wurde. In einem Fall musste der Bettenrost mit Toilettenpapier gepolstert werden, im anderen Fall wurde mit den Matratzen auf dem Fußboden geschlafen. - Nach einem Klemptner-Einsatz wegen verstopfter Abflüsse, stank die gesamte Wohnung abends für viele Stunden nach Schwefelwasserstoff. Der Gülle-Geruch war auch am nächsten Morgen noch nicht ganz verschwunden.

Sehr nette und freundliches Personal . Ich bin nach Leipzig für paar Tage gekommen; habe beim Deutschland Urban Sketchers teilgenommen und brauchte ein Unterkunft in der Nähe Zentrum. Das war perfekt. Zimmer gut ausgestattet; Küche ist auch.
