Cute hotel with nice, big rooms and young, friendly staff. The price was very fair. The hotel is located in an old villa with much character. The centre of Leipzig is not far and can be easily reached by car or public transport. Also, the Monument to the Battle of the Nations is very near. Positive experience.

No air condition, the bathroom smells so bad, no wifi in the room. They dont let you make the check in before 3 pm even when is clearly not full, they wont even let you make the process until 3 pm. It is 20 minutes away from downtown by trail. The bathroom had trash.

Es war o.k. Freundlicher Inhaber abends an der Rezeption. Was ich nicht verstehe, warum ich mein Autokennzeichen angeben sollte obwohl ich doch an der Straße stand. Mein Zimmer hatte die besten Jahre hinter sich. Die erste Generation von Flachbildfernsehern. Die Möbel in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war aber gut, freundliche Bedienung.

Das Hotel ist am Stadtrand von Leipzig ruhig gelegen (sofern keine Veranstaltung im benachbarten Bruno-Plache-Stadion). Es hat kostenlose Parkplätze. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Es ist aber auch deutlich erkennbar, dass die besten Zeiten des Hotels schon eine ganze Weile zurück liegen und es beim Management hapert. Die Rezeption ist nur nachmittags besetzt. Außenanlage und Terrasse wirken ungepflegt, die Pflanzkübelvertrocknet. Das Restaurant ist lieblos dekoriert und hat Defizite in der Sauberkeit, wenn man in die Ecken schaut. Das Personal ist nicht nur zu knapp (dafür hätte ich viel Verständnis) sondern erkennbar schlecht disponiert und entweder mangelhaft eingewiesen oder nicht mit nötigen Kompetenzen ausgestattet. So ziemlich jede Nachfrage unserer Gruppe stellte in den 4 Tagen unserer Anwesenheit ein Problem dar. Zum Grillabend waren die Kellner 19:30 im Feierabend und das ganze Restaurant wurde von einem Mitarbeiter, dem dann alles zuviel war, mürrisch and unmotiviert betreut. An allen Tagen konnten Extras oder Nachfragen unserer Gruppe vom Personal erst nach Rücksprache mit dem Chef geklärt werden. Dieser war selbst selten verfügbar und wirkte ständig genervt und überfordert. Als Gäste haben wir uns nicht willkommen gefühlt. Schade. Preis und Leistung passen hier absolut nicht zusammen. 4 Sterne sind keinesfalls gerechtfertigt.

Mooie kamers, goed ontbijt maar zeer slechte service. Wij werden 's avonds ook bedrogen in de bar door de kelner. Bij thuiskomst hebben wij vastgesteld dat wij de avondconsumptie in de bar niet aan het hotel hebben betaald maar aan een niet bekende instelling.

In dem gut geführten Familienhotel sorgt ein engagiertes Hotelteam für einen stets angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel hat eine angenehme Lage. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind schnell erreichbar. Trotz derzeit schwieriger Rahmenbedingungen (Hohe Energie- und andere Kosten, Personalknappheit u.a.) sorgt das Hotelteam immer für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Entsprechen der Webseite des Hotels buchte ich für Samstag, den 01.10.22, 18.00 Uhr für 5 Personen. Wir wollten einen Geburtstag mit gutem niveauvollem Ambiente und Essen feiern. Denkste!! Der unfreundliche Herr am Empfang wußte von nichts, der "Serfer" würde Probleme machen. (HA, ha) Er verwies uns in den völlig leeren Gästeraum, legte eine Klemmmappe mit losen Seiten hin und verschwand. Mit Pizza und einigen kleinen Nudelgerichten wollten wir den Abend nicht verbringen. Der dann anwesende Kellner teite uns mit, dass die Webseite seit einem Jahr nicht mehr gültig wäre und der Chef es vergessen habe, diese zu ändern. Eilends verliesen wir dies unfreundliche Haus und hatten anderweitig mehr Glück.

Das Essen im Restaurant ist eine bodenlose Frechheit. Für 3 1/2 matschige Kartoffelhälften, 6 bittere und holzige Spargelstangen und ein 3mm dünnes Schnitzel bezahlt man 27,50€. Jedes Essen in einem abgeranzten Bistro ist besser. Ich war noch nie so enttäuscht. Zum Glück gibt es in der näheren Umgebung noch ein wirklich gutes Restaurant. Einfach mal googeln ;-)
