I was here for a trade fair. The hotel is in an industrial park. It is not far from the trade fair and reasonably quiet. The junior suite and the entire hotel in terms of furnishings do not correspond in any way to what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. Positive: -Clean room, bed and bathroom -Clean corridors -Very friendly and helpful staff -Parking spaces (if you're lucky) Negative: -No elevator, and this is not communicated anywhere -Extremely spartanly furnished room (junior suite), with a small closet (supposed to be for 4 people...) -There are no coat hooks in the entrance area, you have to put your wet jackets on the sofa -NO shelves in the bathroom, neither under the shower nor at the sink. Not even a towel hook, everything has to be hung over the radiator - -The desk is squeezed into the bedroom and cluttered with all sorts of things -The ”living room” is largely empty, there is no decent table or chairs -No dividing door between the areas -In the room, the music and bass from the restaurant below could be heard very clearly until 1 a.m. -No air conditioning (not so bad in winter but probably in summer) -Very loud, windows don't really insulate -Breakfast consists of cheap supermarket items and is very limited -Coffee is only weak filter coffee, if you're lucky you can get something else for a fee, but most of the time the staff weren't in the mood. In my opinion, this is definitely not a 4-star hotel. More like 3 stars, and much too expensive for that. And a junior suite is something else too. The staff try hard but that doesn't change the fact that you just don't feel comfortable. The wardrobe is too small even for one person. I actually wanted to stay longer, but then I changed hotels where they offered me something better for 200 EUR a night.

It is very convenient to go to the central station in two minutes from the light rail.
Suite Hotel Leipzig

Note - Experience - Review of 2013 We were at the Suite Hotel at the end of May and booked the zoo package. The stay was really super, the room was very large and very quiet, the bathroom was as spacious as well - a suite for comfort and stay for longer. The staff was very nice and premature and the taste was also best. The breakfast buffet did not open any wishes, we had everything to start well in the day. At arrival, our little was surprised in the room, which was, of course, a small compensation after the long car drive :) We recommend the hotel in any case and will be, if we take a vacation again in Leipzig, Also very happy to ask for a room there.

Every year in January we select the hotel for a fair visit. Parking are always enough. Best location, very nice and clean rooms. Breakfast is excellent and does not leave any wishes open. Although the staff were really rotating in April because of staff shortages, they were always very friendly and helpful. We have absolutely nothing to challenge and look forward to next year in January
Motel One Leipzig-Nikolaikirche

This is my second Motel One and I did not think it was possible to have a room more spartan or smaller than in Berlin Mitte..but I was wrong. As a single I have 1 towel, 1 set of pillows, 1 duvet, no washcloth (none in Berlin either). There are no nightstand, just a shelf that you would use for stacking clothes if you unpack. 3 hangers. When you book, they ask if you are single or double. This is why. My companion is with her husband and paid more for a double. Higher floor and 2 of each. On the flip side, it is in a great location. I had to close the window because of the church bells and street noises. You have a lively bar and breakfast while very expensive at $13.50 is great. You could skip it and walk up the block to several bakeries. Avoid a car if possible. The lot is extremely tight. $15 per day. So while cheap and clean, the other costs add up. You have the bare minimum but with great common areas. If you do have a car, turn left into an open lot…before you get to the street that is the motel one parking garage. Same price, but easier to manage.
