I found this gem of a place on my last night travelling through the area in June. The situation of the property was ideal for views and a nice walk into town or the beach. It has a wonderful old world charm and Cynthia at reception was kind, very helpful and professional. She was very helpful about the area and history of the property. Thank you very much indeed for a wonderful stay and I will be back.

Don’t expect 5* luxury this is an old villa with plenty of quirks. It’s clean & comfortable with a view to die for. Overlooking the sea & the village of Lekeitio, up a steep drive about 1k out of the village, there is a path you can take from the villa down to the road but I wouldn’t recommend anybody with mobility issues using it. The staff are very friendly & helpful, the breakfast is simple but very good, bread, croissant, jam & fresh fruit, but you can also prepare your own food, as in our apartment there were the facilities to do this. We loved it, just a shame we couldn’t control the weather !

4 stars for the place and the comfort. 5 stars for the amazingly friendly and loving staff and the unforgettable views. Everything about this place is special : it’s location, the walk to town, the way you are greeted and treated during your stay. I would have stayed longer but it was fully booked. Just an advice to management: review breakfast upwards or make it free for guests. Mil gracias. Algún día voy a ir de nuevo. Love from Switzerland.

Très bel hotel avec une très jolie vue mer. Superbe accueil. Avons eu quelques souçis personnels et l’hotesse d’accueil s’est pliée en quatre pour nous aider. De très bons conseils aussi pour les restaurants à lekeitio. Très bonne literie. Y retournerai avec plaisir.

Nos ha gustado mucho el hotel. La habitación limpia y acogedora. La ubicación y las vistas excelentes. Pero sobre todo, quiero resaltar el trato que nos dispensó Yun de recepción quien ha sido muy amable con nosotros y nos trató maravillosamente.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au sein de l'hôtel Vila Itsaso. Le cadre est magnifique ainsi que la vue. L'endroit est très charmant et dépaysant. Très bien situé, à quelques minutes du centre de Lekeitio. La chambre (avec vue sur mer) est très charmante. Accueil et séjour très agréable grâce à la réceptionniste Très bon rapport qualité/prix

Prachtig en rustig gelegen oude villa, met grotere en kleinere kamers. Deze mooie dame op leeftijd doet niet aan botox of facelifts: je mag haar rimpels en kraaienpootjes zien. Hier en daar kraakt er dus een vloer of gaat een raam niet perfect dicht. Soit. Het uitzicht is magnifiek, de bedden zijn goed en wij hadden alle ruimte in een groot appartement met zonnige zitkamer. Via een leuk paadje loop je binnen een kwartiertje naar de haven van het überleuke Lekeitio: wij hebben drie dagen lang de auto laten staan. Fijn wandelen hier ook.

Simpatía y cercanía en el trato. Sin embargo, la habitación ofrecida no era la esperada por las fotografías. Existen tres habitaciones fuera de la Casa a modo de cabaña con el lateral de la puerta de entrada totalmente acristalado (incluida la puerta) a modo de escaparate, dificultando la intimidad incluso tapando con las cortinas instaladas. La estructura hace que se escuche perfectamente la lluvia caer y el cabezal de la cama coincide con la cisterna del baño de la habitación contigua, escuchando todo lo que se hace en el baño, dificultando el poder descansar correctamente. La ubicación es preciosa, con unas vistas muy bonitas pero lamentamos el no habernos duchado tan siquiera por la pulcritud y ventanales del baño que no disponían de cortinilla. Recomendamos que se anuncie lo que se ofrece, ya que las fotografías espectaculares son de la casa y no de las "habitaciones" exteriores.
