Jinye Chanyi Vacation Hotel

The hotel is in the scenic area so it is a little tricky to get to, otherwise it's in a nice quite ancient street which is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan china. Vehicles aren't allowed in the area and the street is lined with historic style buildings and large trees. Making it a great place to walk, relax and people watch. The hotel will contact you prior to arrival and arrange for a free electric shuttle pick you up. There are very few food options at and near the hotel. The hotel has a vegetarian set meal that's on the pricey side as is everything in the immediate area. However its a short 10 - 20 minute walk across the bridge where there are several options as well as shops. And if you go in the evening you can see the people dancing in along the boardwalk,.karaoke, or playing cards well as get your ears cleaned, a pedicure, or a haircut. The breakfast was a buffet on one day featuring chinese dishes as fried eggs and toast. On the 2nd day it was a set very traditional chinese breakfast. The room was nice with its own heating/ cooling system. Overall the cleaning could have been better, especially for the price point. The staff was fine. Better attention then you would get in any north american hotel, but in other hotels we recieved over the top service so even through the service was great there is room for improvement. Even though everyone comes to this area for the buddha, i would reccomend coming here to get away from the hustle and bustle of china. You can walk to the buddha statue or boat tour from the hotel or there is a cheap electric shuttle 15y that you can ride all day of you are walked out.

Very confortable and warm hotel really close to Giant Buddha, inside the Scenic Area. Rooms are luxury and the courtyards and buildings attached are very beautiful. Breakfast is vegetarian and delicious. They helped us with everything. We recommend It!

We loved the place so much that it was heartbreaking to leave it so early. It’s so beautiful and relaxing, it’s the perfect place to stay in Leshan.. Everyone is welcoming (Xiao Xiao is adorable).. The restaurant is excellent and they even prepared us something to eat when we came back late from Emeishan. Highly recommanded !!

Nice hotel, convenient to the giant Buddha and ferry boat ride and shuttle bus around the park.. breakfast selection was very nice.  Staff at the reception desk were helpful   Many restaurants around the hotel were closed. You had to walk approximately 20 minutes to find a restaurant closer to the Buddha area entrance gates.  Hotel property was nicely decorated however, the landscaping around the hotel needed to be attended too

The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and gave us suggestions for food and activities around Leshan. The hotel was very nice to stay at and the breakfast was so nice. We loved the teaset provided with our room. Highly recommend!!!
