We stopped for lunch as I’m the past the food was very good with a stunning setting looking over the water ! Sadly it is def not the same and will certainly not return . It has obviously been taken over and the menu is now predominantly Indian with a few other choices but very expensive ! Not good quality A good location spoilt !

I came here for an evening meal on the 2nd January with my partner and son. What a lovely meal was had and such a lovely setting with the Christmas lights outside. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the staff were excellent and we look forward to our next visit.

We took the self-contained cottage for two nights to tour around the lake. The cottage is way more equipped than we ever needed. The whole cottage albeit wooden, is adequately fitted with heating system, so it was warm and cosy even in the middle of the night during our winter visit. Staffs are warm and welcoming. My wife left behind a jacket when we checked out, and we got a call from their staff just shortly after we left.

Another fantastic stay at whispering pines. Perfect location 100% relaxation, food was outstanding. Great hospitality and Hogmanay party perfect start to 2025. The staff are all so attentive special thanks to Akill for his wonderful attention. See you soon for our next visit

This is a special place, spectacular views with super helpful & friendly staff. Great facilities, the food and bar selection was excellent. Breakfast in the morning looking across the loch sets you up nicely for the day. I would definitely return.

Took my wife here last week for a wee birthday treat . Wow absolutely stunning place and location . Situated right on the shores of the loch with amazing views . We were checked in both professionally and friendly by Lara . We had room 4 which had a balcony overlooking the loch and yes again wowww . The room was spotlessly clean with massive bed and top quality bedding . A nice little surprise was waiting for the wife , a delicious chocolate birthday cake complete with a card , very nice little touch .Lying on the bed looking over to the snow capped mountains was just mesmerising as was watching the sun go down over the loch . The shower room large with lots of toiletries and fluffy towels . The hotel bar is a lovely relaxing area complete with open fire which was on for us . It has a very good selection of drinks available and not that expensive for where you are . We dined in the restaurant that evening and that was an experience in itself . The food was delicious and the service first class . Again we didn’t think it was expensive for what we had , as you could tell it was all freshly made . After a fantastic night’s sleep and wakening up to the mountains again and a cup of coffee on the balcony we went for breakfast. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice hot , cold & savoury . The service we received was just perfect the guy was so helpful and friendly , nothing too much . All the staff we were met were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us . We would definitely return here without a doubt , and shall at some point in the not too distant future. Massive thanks to Sharon , Lara and all the staff for making so special . ❤️

When traveling we run into little difficulties and sometimes larger ones. But we meet wonderful people and see beautiful and interesting places. The whispering pine lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The food is very good. The view of the lake and the mountains is stunning. Thanks to Akhil, Valerie, Muhul, Monica, Sasha, the man that delivers the tea cakes and the other wonderful staff members for making our stay memorable.

Stayed here last weekend and it was lovely. We paid extra for a loch view room and although it was expensive it was worth it. The view was amazing, the room was lovely and the little touches throughout made it a special stay. We stayed valentines night and had booked into the restaurant for dinner. Food was excellent, service good although a bit expensive. A rose was on every table which was nice and then when we went back to our room a rose and teacakes were left on the turned down bed. Really nice touch. I would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone travelling to the area. Couldn't fault it at all.
