Good size room with sea view. Great location. Breakfast was good and the whole visit left a pleasant feeling of the place. Water in the shower extremely cold in the morning for a long time before the water warmed up, but finally it did. Warm recommendation!

Hotel located approx 8 mins walk from main area in Leuca. Nice views over bay and reception, breakfast areas nice. Rooms were ok but would benefit from a refurbishment but ok to stay in for a night. Breakfast selection was good and served on the patio which was nice.

We were greeted at reception in a rude and very off putting way. Then we asked to make a reservation in the restaurant and were subjected to the same off manner such that we decided not to bother with any further discussion with the guy. Both of us decided that some other establishment deserved the custom. The hotel was chosen for us as part of a cycling trip, boy we both wish we’d never stopped there.

We have recently returned from a week's stay at this hotel - a perfect place to lay your head if you are based in Santa Maria de Leuca. Very well placed for a beach bar just over the main road and a short walk from the 'front', restaurants and bars. Calm and peaceful pool, enough sunbeds for everyone (in September !). Our room was clean, air conditioned with enough towels and storage for our clothes. The staff were polite and friendly, contrary to some other reviews here. Eat in the restaurant (we did, three times !) it is one of the top reviewed in the area. There is a good choice at breakfast and ample parking for the hotel.

This was one of the prettier hotels I experienced in Puglia, and I would give it more stars if not for the extremely rude Manager/Owner. Not only was he off-putting upon arrival, he was horrible to his lovely restaurant staff. The man was rude at check-in and check-out, so at least he is consistent. On a happier note, my evening meal was a really delicious pasta. (I chose to dine at the hotel's restaurant because it was a bit of a hike to the town, with no sidewalks.)

The appearance and location was lovely. Inside we had a lovely lunch and there is a really nice swimming pool with great pool beds and surrounds. The staff were efficient but not over friendly. The interior was full of arty stuff which just made it look cluttered and old fashioned. The room was tired and many bits like sockets and fridge didn’t work. So yes I would return but feel like rooms needed a bit of modernising.

Grand reception area with interesting art and furniture. Room was spacious and clean but completely dark when we arrived as the shutters were down. They were in a state of disrepair and we were wary of opening as mortar fell off the wall as we raised them. Bathroom quite dated with no hot water. Tepid shower after a day's cycling not what we needed! The toilet flush was also malfunctioning and the flush panel fell off the wall. The hairdryer was very old (attached to wall) and the hose kept coming off. Saving grace were the staff in the restaurant and a fantastic breakfast with delicious fresh cakes and homemade conserves. Decent coffee from a self service machine too. Pool terrace area looked lovely but unfortunately the weather was awful, so we couldn't enjoy it.

Excellent hotel, with beautiful pool area and view, friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms, right in the heart of SMDL with everything on your doorstep-we enjoyed it so much we’re definitely returning.
