This hotel was great to stay at while visiting the nearby sky pits. The staff were helpful, especially Huangdanlian. She helped me figure out transportation to the attractions and recommended dining options. When it was raining, she even ran outside after I had left to offer me an umbrella! The kindness of the staff is something I will remember about my trip to Leye.
The location for coming to or from Baise is excellent. The bus can drop you off a 5-minute walk from the hotel and to get back to Baise, the return bus leaves from the alley across the street. Many dining options are only a short walk away.
The only issue with the hotel was the residual cigarette smell in the room which was very strong. This is an issue with other hotels I have stayed at in Guangxi and hope the hotel can make moves to have dedicated non-smoking rooms in the future.

The insulation is too poor and the dishes are basically cold. Fortunately, there are boiled noodles, otherwise it is impossible to eat in such a cold weather... The hotel only gives 2 bottles of bottled water. You can't ask for more bottles (you have to pay). I have stayed in cheap and expensive hotels all over the country, and none of them said they would not give it...
