I stayed at Le Fournil already a couple of times. Neat hotel, rooms are clean. Breakfast is very good with local products. Also tried the hotel restaurant, definitely worth for dinner. Friendly personell, I go there often when passing by Redu.

Very nice contemporary decorated bedrooms with plenty of space in lovely rustic building and setting. Comfy beds and slept well although some noise does travel through the walls from adjacent rooms; not really a problem unless you have unhappy babies next door :-) Very good restaurent and excellent breakfast with delicious food and splendid service. Staff and Hotel management were delightful and very attentive making sure that everything is to your liking and are super helpful whenever you needed anything. The charming hotel manager also brings previous years of international experience in high end exclusive hospitality which you can feel in the small details. You must try their local beer on the menu, La Quarantaine, brewed to celebrate 40 years of Book festival in the village, Redu. It was very smooth and was available for purchase in Tourist information office next door where a delightfully friendly lady is ready to help with local information on the village and walking routes in the area. Unless she restocked, there might not be much left now because I nearly cleared them out :-)

Leuk hotel op prachtige locatie ,de kamers zijn heel netjes en modern ,vriendelijk personeel ,lekker ontbijt op het terras met prachtig uitzicht ,mooie kamers . Heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant. Leuke omgeving! Wij komen zeker terug.

Bon accueil par une jeune femme, serveurs très sympathiques. La chambre est jolie, propre et agréable, il manque juste un petit frigo pour avoir des boissons fraîches pour randonner . Un abri fermé pour y mettre les vélos en sécurité serait un plus. Petit bémol le matin du départ, une dame a fait une réflexion sur le prix du vin et le monsieur qui était là ( je pense le patron?) lui a fait quelques remarques justifiées dans le fond mais il n´y a pas mis les formes. En effet, remarques devant toutes les personnes présentes au petit déjeuner et à voix haute. Une petite heure plus tard au moment du check-out, le même mr nous a tendu la note, nous avons payé et.... même pas un: "vous avez passé un bon séjour ?".... rien, même pas un au revoir et merci. Mais bon le reste du séjour était très bien, la cuisine délicieuse et l´hôtel très bien.

Très bel hôtel à l'ambiance chaleureuse. Excellent restaurant doté d'une salle avec feu ouvert qui apporte un plus à une cuisine de qualité et un service impeccable. Très belle chambre spacieuse et super équipée. Très bon petit-déjeuner varié et complet. Seul petit bémol, la chambre située dans une annexe en dehors de l'hôtel

Vriendelijke ontvangst. We kregen een kamer boven het restaurant. Het was net een smurfen kamer, met laag plafond en deur van ongeveer 1,85 cm hoog, smal bed en mini bad. Keukendeur ook in de kamer. Gelukkig was het eten heel lekker. In de eenpersoonskamer naast ons vertoefde een dronken man ……..

Vraiment rien à signaler. Hôtel au calme. Pièces " cosy" ( resto, bar,....) très chaleureux avec ses feux de bois. Bonne cuisine ( j' ai été cuisinier) original, belle présentation et avec goût. Situation au cœur du village et permet une foule d'activités. A refaire.

Expérience exceptionnelle. Hôtel restaurant situé dans un joli village des Ardennes belges à proximité de l'agence spatiale européenne. La cité du livre au petit caractère. Nous avons réalisés deux randonnées ou virées. Chambre confortable. Restaurant exceptionnel. Repas et pdj copieux.
