We booked the ground floor apartment due to unavailability of the upper floor accommodation. Positive: We appreciated the entire communication before and during our stay with the owner. This was excellent. However, there are a couple of points we would like to point out which we consider as problematic and which would prevented us from renting the accommodation had we been aware of them: 1. The apartment is described as located in the ground floor. In fact it’s in the souterrain (basement) four steps lower than the street level. This is a misleading and wrong description. 2. There is not a single window which provides daylight. This fact should definitely be mentioned. The glas door isn’t an adequate lighting nor ventilation. 3. The entire accommodation is extremely noisy when it comes to sounds from neighboring rooms and footsteps from the upper floors. We highly recommend mentioning these three facts in the description in order to to give potential guests an objective picture of the accommodation and to be able to adjust their expectation management accordingly. In particular, the term "mansion" is extremely misleading in this context.
