Hotel Greif

The Greif was certainly one of the top addresses in town. Today, this hotel lives off its reputation, but unfortunately it does not live up to it. The rooms are very small and the furnishings (80s style) could do with being updated. The toilet and shower in one room and the bad smell are also a problem. There are no sockets for charging the devices that are common today. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the evening entertainment with live music is also very positive. The staff is extremely friendly, competent and accommodating.

Classic hotel with lots of old charm. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a newly renovated room, probably as compensation for the closed restaurant and the rather simple breakfast, as we were almost the only guests. Great location anyway and beautifully renovated rooms. Very hospitable staff. We felt very comfortable as a family with a dog.

Everything is great, very close to the beach, also great with a dog. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast has everything you could wish for. Shops are also very close by. The path to the beach is not directly next to the hotel, but it is easy to get to.

Se ci fosse andato Bruno Barbieri le stelle gliele avrebbe tirate dietro, stanze nin fatte, non sono stati tolti dalla doccia le bottigliette del bagno schiuma e mai sostituite, una tristezza infinita, l'unica cosa dignitosa, ma non da 5 stelle è la colazione

Abbiamo soggiornato a luglio, di 5 stelle ha solo i prezzi e il servizio al ristorante per il resto non ci avviciniamo minimamente al mondo dei 5 stelle. Premetto personale super gentile e disponibile, lode a loro, ma si sono persi in un bicchier d’acqua… abbiamo soggiornato una settimana, a circa metà soggiorno a perisce un pigiama dalla camera, probabilmente preso su con le lenzuola, abbiamo fatto presente e addirittura ci hanno fatto parlare al telefono con la cameriera che ovviamente non poteva aiutarci se non dicendoci che probabilmente era in lavanderia…Da quel momento più nulla nessuno e dico nessuno ci ha dato un riscontro o , come succede nei 5stelle veri, nessuno si è scusato o minimante offerto di ricomprare quanto preso sapendo che era tra l’altro di un ospite incinta…. Vabbè bene di valore irrisorio ma è il concetto che proprio non va! Avevamo la pensione completa, per due sere (di cui una imprevista)l e la seconda avevamo dato più di 24 ore di preavviso) non abbiamo cenato….. nulla zero storni , non mi aspetto di quello imprevisto ma almeno di quello del quale eravate ben informati sia in sala che in reception. Morale è che io lavoro negli hotel 5*L da anni , gestisco due 3stelle budget in Italia ed ho una società di gestione alberghiera…. Questo modus operandi della direzione del Greif di Lignano è a dir poco scandaloso per quello che si spacciano di essere, ospitalità, al di là delle stelle che esponiamo è sinonimo di accoglienza e servizio, se l’hotel sbaglia DEVE farsi carico del problema o almeno cercare di risolverlo, voi siete una trappola per turisti.
