Green Village Eco Resort

Quiet and green place, large and clean rooms, rich and tasty buffet for meals. Extremely courteous staff. Only advice: being a pet-friendly structure, I would recommend completing the service with a shuttle to one of the bau beaches to avoid customers with dogs having to take the car and having to look for parking. My dogs had a great time and we were able to manage them by taking advantage of the green areas and in particular the grove next to the Resort

It is a beautiful resort surrounded by greenery but a stone's throw from the center and the beach, which are easily reachable both by car and via the cycle path. The outdoor parking is very spacious but there is also a convenient garage that allows you to keep your car cool and protected from possible hail. The pool area is very large and well maintained, with a relaxation area and gym. We didn't use it much because we preferred to go to the beach. The two sunbeds and umbrella included in the price are truly a nice convenience. Our apartment was large and bright, with a well-stocked kitchenette and two beautiful terraces. Unfortunately we were unable to use one due to the presence of many wasps in the attic. On the other side there was a small nest which was promptly removed as soon as we reported it. We found the mosquito nets placed on the bedroom and bathroom windows to be an excellent solution. In our opinion, the cleanliness of the room was not impeccable, both upon arrival and during the stay. But, over the course of the week, we saw that there were only two people cleaning all the apartments on our "avenue", so it would have been really impossible for them to do more in one day. We took advantage of the half board and had a very good time. The staff in the dining room, as well as all the staff within the structure, were very helpful, kind and attentive to various requests. Huge choice of dishes every evening, both at the buffet and for first and second courses. The breakfast buffet is also very rich and refined. A further positive note is the fact that there are gluten-free alternatives, which is not always a given. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we recommend the property.

It is a beautiful structure: equipped with all comforts. We stayed in the apartment, we took advantage of the swimming pool, the spa and the beach, with an umbrella always in the front row. But we booked in February, to have the best price guaranteed, and the week we were on holiday we realized that the prices on the site were much lower than the offer we had purchased. So at the end of the stay we paid the same price for a week in June (booked in February) as if we had booked in June. The justification they gave us: "they are last minute offers", which is a contradiction, given that they were valid for at least another two months. We won't be back again. Also because, comparing ourselves with other families present, we discovered that they too were victims of the same game, even booking in December of the previous year. A shame, especially because the structure is managed by an agency with many years of experience - the Europe Tourist Group, so it wasn't a mistake, but a clear strategy to make money incorrectly.

This was our 7th visit and we really appreciate the combination of a "holiday apartment" ("suite" type) and a resort/hotel (good restaurant, pool area, service). High-quality food in the in-house restaurant and in a pleasant atmosphere (no guests in flip-flops and tank tops at dinner) with an extensive starter buffet (also lots of seafood), always three choices for the first course (pasta, one always with fish/seafood) and second course (main course, one always with fish/seafood), large dessert buffet. For children there is pasta with tomato sauce, French fries, etc. but also always a safe bet if the good food on offer is not to the children's liking. Tasteful and functional accommodation (we always have a "suite" type apartment), small kitchenette so you can make your own coffee or prepare a snack. Living room and bedroom separately air-conditioned. Accommodation by the pool outside of bathing times is very quiet and relaxing. Well-kept pool and garden area. The pool is "fresh", but in my opinion not as dramatic as is often criticized here. The second warm pool is really warm and has a few massage spots (water feature, whirlpool loungers), and used to be designated as a "wellness pool". However, it has always been mostly used by small children because of the water temperature and the shallow water depth. The warm pool is therefore not usually suitable for relaxation, but it is a delight for parents of small children. There are no play facilities (slides or similar) in either pool. Service throughout the resort is generally very good and courteous. At peak times for breakfast and dinner, the staff in the restaurant are fully occupied. Nevertheless, used dishes are quickly cleared from the tables and the buffet and food are continually replenished quickly. Guests are assigned a fixed table for dinner (7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) for the duration of their vacation. Tables in the restaurant are preferable in my opinion (air-conditioned), while it can still be very warm on the terrace outside in the evening. Breakfast is only served on the covered terrace, no table reservations. Breakfast time until 10:00 a.m., peak time around 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Animation/entertainment program is very limited. After dinner there is a mini disco for children, which is well received by the children (ages around 2-9 years). In the morning there are small activities in the "kids club" (crafts, etc.). Once a week there is a (good!) musician at the bar who entertains with covers of well-known pop music while you sip cocktails. Overall, however, you should not expect any evening entertainment worth mentioning like in large all-inclusive hotels with dancing, shows, etc. There are usually a few guests sitting at the bar after dinner (good cocktails at fair prices from around 7 euros), but by 10 p.m. at the latest it is empty and quiet.
