Hot spring Hotels in Lijiang

We had a very disappointing experience at Pullman Lijiang, which makes us think less of the brand and it’s positioning. I don’t recommend this hotel but to be objective here are some things I liked and didn’t like about the hotel. What I liked: - The location was good. - Well-designed spacious rooms. - Interesting architecture and good view of the mountains. What I didn’t like: - The wifi was not working, it was designed for locals and the registration system with WeChat and SMS did not support foreigners. I brought up this issue multiple times with the staff, the issue was passed from one person to next and eventually was not resolved and was quickly forgotten. - The hotel served cheap Lipton tea which was a big surprise given that Yunnan is a land of tea and has so much more to offer. - The toilet door is not designed well, there is no proper ventilation and sometimes the door closes and you need to push really hard to open, not very safe if the glass breaks. - The service was poor, we stayed in many different hotels while travelling in the Yunnan region and this hotel lacks hospitality, the staff is indifferent and don’t even try. - Hot spring is only available for the highest categories, this was not clearly stated when booking. - Overall I don’t recommend this hotel, it looks good but the service and experience was lacking. There are plenty of other and better options for you to choose from in Lijiang.

This is really a perfect experience. The hotel's location, design and service are all great. We set up a WeChat group two days before departure for one-on-one communication. They also helped us book tickets for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and pick-up throughout the trip. As long as there are questions and requests, the group will definitely provide feedback and solutions as soon as possible. The beautiful Xiaojie became our invisible tour guide. Great 👍

Lijiang chose Mengdiezhuang for the first stop. The yard is very distinctive, antique, there is a tea room and a study, and the environment is good. We set a twin room, the room is old, and small, so small that the suitcase can not be spread out, there is a smart toilet, the bath water is not very big, maybe I have a higher requirement for bathing. The toiletries are all L'Occitane. This is a compliment. The hair dryer can't keep up. I probably blew it for 30 minutes before blowing a half dry. Everyone in the inn is very cute, the service is very good, the breakfast is disappointing, and overall it is OK. Like humanistic care to choose here.

I recently traveled to Lugu Lake, and the hotel I stayed in left me with an indelible and beautiful impression. I must praise it! The hotel is in an excellent location, right by Lugu Lake. You can see the clear lake water as soon as you open the window of the room. The lake and mountains are in full view, as beautiful as a painting. It was a wonderful experience to be awakened by the gentle sunshine and the waves of the lake in the morning. Breakfast is really a highlight! There are rich and diverse varieties, both Chinese and Western. Chinese hot porridge, buns, and steamed dumplings, each of which has the taste of home; Western bread, fried eggs, and ham are also of excellent quality. I especially like their freshly made rice noodles, the soup base is rich and fragrant, and the side dishes are also very fresh. I can't help but eat a few more bowls every day. What touched me most was the service of the butler, which was warm and considerate. From the time I checked in, I patiently introduced the hotel facilities and the fun places around me. Before going out every day, the butler would remind me of the weather conditions and help me plan the tour route. After returning to the hotel, they still care about whether I am having fun. This feeling of being valued is so good. There is also the afternoon tea in the hotel, which is so exquisite that people don't want to eat it. Exquisite snacks, paired with fragrant tea, sitting on the terrace by the lake, blowing the breeze, enjoying the leisure time, it is so comfortable. The layout of the room is also very warm and comfortable, the bedding is soft, the bathroom is clean and tidy, and all kinds of facilities are available. At night, you can also hear the sound of the lake gently hitting the shore. Falling asleep with this sound, the quality of sleep has improved. This stay experience is great, whether it is the scenery, food or service, it is impeccable. Next time I come to Lugu Lake, I will choose this hotel without hesitation and recommend it to my friends around me!

This time I stayed at the Meilin Snow Mountain Hot Spring Hotel, and I was really amazed! The environment makes people feel comfortable. The best thing is that you can soak in the hot spring pool in the room and feel the warm spring water wrapping your body. The fatigue of the day will disappear instantly. The service is also very considerate. The staff is enthusiastic and professional when checking in, and they will respond to any request. The scenery around the hotel is pleasant, and you can see natural beauty when walking. I will choose this place next time I go on vacation!

The hotel service is OK. I just booked the hotel and created a group with many service staff. I thought I would get better service, but it wasn't. Some general service information was sent to the group, but when I asked questions in the group, no one responded for a long time. The hotel's hardware is OK, with smart home and floor heating. The room is very small and I can't turn around. The view from the terrace is also average. It's far from the lake and is blocked by big trees. The breakfast is very simple and I can't even eat enough. Compared with the price, it is below expectation.

The homestay in the ancient city has a feeling of a Beijing courtyard, the environment is beautiful, and the yard downstairs can also let you relax and watch movies at night 🎬 A comfortable and relaxing feeling, the rooms are all intelligently controlled to free your hands, the room is large and has dry and wet separation, the environment and sanitation are very good, and rice noodles and porridge will be provided for breakfast in the morning, and the service is very good. I will continue to choose to stay here next time.

The room was very clean, the proprietress was very welcoming, the scenery was super beautiful, the sunrise over Jinshan Mountain was unobstructed from the bed, the proprietress's photography skills were super good, the breakfast was delicious, the baby was also very cute, I stayed at the hotel on the last day of my return trip, I only stayed for one night, I will stay a few more days next time to experience it

The hotel has been so kind to upgrade us to the Family suite 😇. The suite is big and has two adjacent bedrooms with a big bathtub. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. We will stay here again if we ever go to Lijiang again 🥰 Most importantly, we would like to show our gratefulness to all of the staff in Xinyi Hotel 🙇♀️ for their efforts to help our daughter to get back her handphone that was left behind in the Didi car. As we were not able to contact the driver, the staff helped us to make police report and we went down to the police station. Things would not be so smooth and expedite without their assistance. Thankfully we were able to catch our train on the day itself. The staff even refused our gratitude. This show their professionalism and great characteristics. Words can’t express our appreciation for your efforts but we still want to say a big thank you to you all. 🤝🤝

The environment is really beautiful! Arriving here is refreshing. Since it is an undeveloped scenic spot with few people, the experience is great. The scenery is right outside the hotel window.
