Hampton by Hilton Lijiang Old Town

Traveling with kids was really comfortable and hygienic. The washer and dryer for laundry were also a big plus! Plus, since we wanted to do some sightseeing on our checkout day, we asked the front desk for a late checkout, and they readily agreed! It was a very pleasant trip 😁 And! The staff member who checked us in said we might see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain if the weather was good. We didn't have high hopes, but on the morning we left, we actually saw it!!

Had a fantastic stay at the Hampton by Hilton in Lijiang. It's incredibly close to Lijiang Old Town, making transportation very convenient, and the location is excellent. I had requested a high floor before checking in, and the front desk staff thoughtfully arranged it for me. I could even see the snow-capped mountains from my room, though it was a shame the weather wasn't great. The breakfast selection was extensive, with plenty of options, including local rice noodles. Due to my travel plans, I had a late train ticket, and the front desk staff kindly gave me an eye mask. Overall, from the environment to the service, it was a wonderful experience.

## Review **Facilities:** The layout of the triple room is very family-friendly for those with two children. The entrance is 1.5 meters wide, with a partition in the middle that integrates a TV and a computer desk. Inside, there's a 1.8m bed and a 1.2m bed. The wardrobe, restroom, and bathroom are all in a line, parallel to the bedroom. There are two sliding doors, each facing a large bed on either side of the partition, allowing both sides to use the restroom and bathroom without disturbing each other, and providing good privacy. The TV can rotate 180 degrees, so it can be watched from either side. **Environment:** A hidden gem is that the floor-to-ceiling windows in the corridor outside the door directly face Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. You can watch the sunrise gilding the mountain without even leaving the hotel in the morning. **Hygiene:** The breakfast selection is diverse, and the hygiene is excellent, making it reassuring for families with children. The rice noodles are self-service with customizable toppings. While not as delicious as established rice noodle restaurants, it's definitely better than the average street stall. **Environment:** The hotel is not on a main street, so it's quiet at night. Turning left or right and walking 30 meters will lead you to a main road, making it car-friendly and avoiding traffic. **Service:** The laundry room is always busy, but you can drop off your clothes there with your room number, and the staff will wash them and deliver them to your room, saving you the hassle of waiting in line. There are two computers in the lobby available for free use, convenient for researching travel plans or handling urgent work.

I've always loved staying at Hilton hotels. As a well-known chain, their prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and reliable. The breakfast is quite generous, and the sleeping environment is quiet and peaceful. I slept really well both nights I stayed there! 👍

Thumb, index, and middle fingers—all found hairs under the sheets. (Don't tell me they were mine; I hadn't even laid down for hair to get under there.) The pillowcases were also yellow. The air conditioner was noisy at night too. Service attitude was fine, though.

The rooms at Hilton Garden Inn are well-decorated, clean, and hygienic. It lives up to the reputation of a big chain brand. I frequently book this brand when I travel, and this Lijiang location met my expectations as well.

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was warm and attentive. When I booked, I requested a mountain view and was pleasantly surprised to get one. As we were leaving, they even gave my child two bottles of mineral water for the journey, which shows incredible attention to detail.

Room Amenities: I stayed two nights in Lijiang this trip, with a visit to Shangri-La in between. I booked both a family room and a family suite. The suite offered significantly more space. Value for Money: This hotel offers great value for money. The environment and transportation are both good, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended! Breakfast: The breakfast selection was quite rich! My child wasn't feeling well and didn't want to eat breakfast, so I asked the staff for a small bag to pack some eggs and mini bread. They arranged it very quickly, which was commendable! In between, I bought some fruit and washed it but had nothing to put it in. I asked the front desk for a disposable container, and they promptly arranged for a robot to deliver it. Truly commendable! The hotel also keeps complimentary cookies and hot rose black tea on the first floor, which is a big plus! Recommended!

We were on a family trip with two kids, and having three beds was fantastic! The room was huge, and the bathroom and toilet were also massive! Breakfast was very rich, and the chicken noodle soup was delicious! An international chain is an international chain after all, and the bedding was superb! 👍 After checking out, we went to Baisha Ancient Town. When we got there, we realized we'd left the kids' thermos in the room. We called the front desk, and they immediately arranged for a delivery service to bring it to us in Baisha Ancient Town, which is about 10 kilometers away from the hotel. I was so touched! Thank you 🥹 Next time we come to Lijiang, we'll definitely stay at Hilton Lijiang again!
