Facilities: The bathtub was amazing, great for a relaxing soak. Service: Very thoughtful and attentive, they helped with luggage and showed us to the guesthouse. So considerate and always available, it was awesome. Cleanliness: The room was clean and odor-free. Environment: Strong ******* atmosphere, with a view of the ancient city right from the window.

Located within Lijiang Ancient Town, the hotel offers excellent service, including hassle-free and attentive pickup/drop-off. They have a good variety of room types to suit different needs. The hotel is also very close to the bar street, so you can easily enjoy some music at night.

My flight was re-routed to Lijiang, so I booked a stay at the Guotai Mansion B&B Hotel in the ancient town right before boarding. Its location is excellent, close to the Grand Water Wheel attraction. The hotel is a two-story, courtyard-style building, full of ancient charm, clean, and beautifully decorated. In the lounge, there's a large tea table where friendly staff are always ready to brew a pot of fragrant tea and offer some snacks – it felt so warm and cozy. For breakfast, they make a fresh bowl of special rice noodles, which were delicious. Overall, the service was truly attentive; they even picked me up and dropped me off at the drop-off point and helped with my luggage. The proprietress is a kind and beautiful young lady. She enthusiastically recommended various places to eat and explore, shared lychees sent by her friends, and even gave us a voucher for a golden ear sashimi roll at a mushroom hotpot restaurant. I was truly touched. It's a shame my trip was so short; I'll definitely stay longer next time! Highly recommend experiencing it!

When I came to Lijiang this time, I chose this Naxi-style guesthouse with a local feel. Its location is right in the center of the old town, just a few minutes' walk to Sifang Street, the Waterwheel, and Bar Street. There's also a super beautiful 'Mi Cafe' nearby, which is very convenient. The guesthouse itself is an antique courtyard, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with excellent privacy. The ground floor courtyard is perfect for tea and chats at any time, while the second floor features rooms with a view. From the balcony, you can overlook the entire old town, and if you wake up early, you might even catch the sunrise over Lijiang Ancient City. In the evening, sitting on the balcony with a glass of local rose wine allows you to fully immerse yourself in the slow pace of life in the old town. The service is the highlight. Given the cobblestone streets of the old town, which make pulling luggage difficult, the owner personally arranges for someone to help with pickup and drop-off. They enthusiastically recommend delicious flower cakes (a local delicacy) and picturesque spots for taking photos with the snow-capped mountains. Breakfast is freshly made; the chicken soup rice noodles and freshly ground coffee prepared by the auntie are excellent! And to top it off, I even received a thoughtful farewell gift from the kind owner when I checked out. Traveling is all about the scenery and the accommodation, and this was an exceptionally good experience! Highly recommended!
