Lijiang YueTing Aerial Scenery Terrace Hotel

Overall, the stay was still passable. The cons would be drop off / pick up point via vehicle to the hotel location involves walking for approx. 7-10mins via pavements. However, the hotel staff extends nice gesture to meet at the drop off point and offer to carry the luggages to the lobby. However, the walk may not be ideal for those with weaker knees. And if there’s wet weather, just be extra cautious as it can get very slippery. Once at hotel, we were greeted by positive hospitality. Free tea appreciation by the hotel staff and providing great recommendation for things around to eat / shop / visit. They have also assisted in arranging transports for day trip to Yulong Snow Mountain which is comparable to what you can get via online. The view from the lobby and bar is great, overlooking the view of Lijiang. However, the rooms aren’t what we have expected. Would say it’s pretty run down condition. Amenities were basic and the toilet water pressure isn’t the strongest. The blanket which is kept in the cardboard is indeed questionable and we opt not to use it. Walls were cracking and some flakes were observed. Overall, basic needs. Though the hotel is actually located well in the aspect where many shophouses and eateries are within walking distance hence no fear on that aspect.

I have such a nice stay at this hotel. The view was so beautiful from my room balcony and even more amazing from the hotel lobby and cafe. The staff was really nice and wonderful even though most of the time, we use translator to communicate. To reach the hotel from the main gate, you will need to climb quite a steep of stairs plus the cobble road. It can be quite tiring for the first time. The nicest part is the staff was so kind to carry the luggage to/from the nearby gate. Plus, the breakfast was really good.

The staff was very nice and even picked us up from the street (the taxi cannot enter the old town, you have to walk for a bit, which is totally fine).The staff even helped us carry our luggage (see the picture). They then greeted us with a selection of local tea and were very friendly. They also advised us on how to prepare for the Yulong Xueshan day trip, when to leave, etc. The room is very cute and their terrace has an amazing view. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was excellent and in an amazing location. The view of the ancient town was wonderful.

The staff where so friendly and supportive. They were very attentive even before my arrival. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Excellent location and great view. Thank you!!
