Facilities: The bathroom door handle was peeling. I turned around and my fingers were bleeding. I asked the staff if they had any medicine or band-aids, but there was nothing. Also, there is only one two-hole socket on the bed, which can be used to plug in an electric blanket or charge a mobile phone. It happened to be snowing in Lijiang when we checked in and it was quite cold, which was super inconvenient.
Environment: It is obviously an old youth hostel. The walls of the room seem to have cancer and have not been repaired. The common spaces especially the laundry space are too far away (on the 4th floor).
Hygiene: The rooms all have private bathrooms but it seems that no one cleans them every day. There is a lot of hair on the bathroom floor.
Service: When I checked in, the boss and the housekeeper were not there. There was only one staff member who didn't know how to handle the business. It took a long time to check in. When I needed a front desk or help later, it felt like having no front desk was the same as not having one.
